Are you keeping up with the Commodore?

    • I'm a Spectrum Next owner, have a KS1 and awaiting my KS3
Also i'm the one making mini keybaords for the Retrogames TheA500 mini Amiga and TheC64 Mini Commodore 64.

May get a C64 Ultimate at some point, but gotta watch the pennies, the KS3 Nex^t should sate my C64 urges for now…

      How about you?

Pulled out the 1984 C64 and 1541C last Christmas. Made a XUM1541 cable and tested that the 1541 drive is still working. The C64 still looks like it did in the 90s but afraid to power it on. Have to build a S-video cable anyway as RF-out won't work in 2026. Software wise, thinking of building a Tapecart and I want to convert Bard's Tale to run of it. Further down the track I'd like to try getting a ESP32-S2 to emulate a 1541 like Pi1541 does. Might not have a fast enough processor.

Didn't own a Spectrum or Amiga so the nostalgias not there for me. I did recently check out homebrew Amiga versions of Renegade, Outrun, Tiny Bubble Bobble, Final Fight enhanced, Rygar, Bomb Jack, and Xevious. They are all very impressive technical wise.

just be a little careful with that C64 power supply, may be worth buying a new one, or at least testing it before plugging it into the C64, happy to take this offline and help you

    • Because the Commodore is keeping up with you! Well maybe not anymore…
