this Oral-B Pro 300 for $44.99 seems to be a pretty equivalent deal for similar level of toothbrush

Thanks, bought this. Interestingly, you can buy this with S&S bringing it down to $40.49.

    • More importantly I think toothbrush heads are probably a bit easier to get for oral b in a jiffy than Phillips too

    • oral b pro series is better than iq ? confused why so many models

      • The Pro series uses the same basic brush heads as the Vitality series. iO has a new magnetic brush head system.

    • which one is better though

  • 14-day battery life

Just reminded me I should probably put my kids' Oral-B brushes on the charger - claimed they have 8-day life, but I typically charge them once a fortnight.

  • Is the Philips electric toothbrush gentler to use? I’ve had a few Oral-B electric toothbrushes and find the vibration quite aggressive and unpleasant.

    • Multifunction vibration mechanism

    • Paediatric dentist suggested Sonicare specifically for this reason. Getting it now with this deal so can't comment on it VS OralB yet…

      • hmm but someone here said his/her dentist suggested the rotating is muchhhhhh better than just vibrate, in fact the only electric brush we need is the rotating type

        • Yes, I think it's one of these 'pick your battle' situation: manual < sonic < rotating, but if there are sensory issues and you would not use the rotary one regularly because of it, better go sonic than manual, or less brushing…

  • Only the pink is $39 now
