Sadly incompatible with steamdeck at the moment.

I've been following along waiting to see if someone comes up with a workaround 😭

    • Just emulate the dreamcast version?

GOG versions work fine through Heroic Launcher.

Eww. Why would they bother with drm when they also have the game on gog without the drm?

These were sick what, twenty years ago

    • Yep! My nostalgia fog remembers them fondly

      • It was a sick period for gaming they practically couldn't put a foot wrong.

    • DC 1 holds up…OK. The story is bananas (by modern standards), but the gameplay is pretty cool.

Some very poorly designed puzzles, but nothing a quick Google wouldn't fix. Not as good as RE, but then nothing is haha.

I remember finishing this game on the ps one in Japanese. I can’t read Japanese at all.

Further from what OP says, Supposedly that DRM added to the steam version is pretty shite, makes games run bad for many people. Just a heads up.
So unless you are one of the crazy "No other Launchers!!!" people, get it on GOG. Also just simply better to support them, as the ones who actually do the effort of saving these classics.

  • 10s of people are about to find out the game is not as good as they remember.

  • Man I haven't played these since the PS1. Time to fire up the Retroid Pocket 5, I think…
