how do you get the standard cashbank in the first place? this is a westpac bank thing?
You get it straight into your account on all ShopBack gift card purchases, the bonus you only get if you pay with a linked eligible Bank card.
Purchased a Coles gift card and a Woolworths Supermarket gift card, paying with a Westpac card. For both the standard cashback tracked in about 1 minute, and the bonus cashback tracked in about 6 minutes.
Any limitations? I.e., can I buy multiple gift cards like $1000 of Woolies (2 x $500 in one transaction) and it will all count?
From personal experience there is no limit on how much cashback you'll get, but sometimes the card denomination eg $50 that you want might sell out.
I stocked up in this December deal and got all the expected bonus cashbsck.

I can confirm I bought 2 $500 gift cards (in 2 separate transactions), and both tracked successfully within ~5 minutes for both standard and bonus cashback.

I bought 3 Woolies $500 cards but only got bonus for 2
I bought 4 Coles and it only tracked on one gift card
Edit - all tracked now - both standard and bonus cashback

Not sure. I remember something about it taking a couple of weeks to clear if you use Apple Pay, but don't quote me on that.
