A Wi-Fi scanner similar to inSSIDer and NetSpot. The developer is now offering it for free on Windows, Linux and MacOS. I have tried the Windows version and like it.
I found the program on SNBForums. Asus router fans may recognise the OP :)

Too bad there is only a binary for debian. He did provided the source code though.

Time to check if the 2ply aluminium hat I made is enough to keep out the 5g's from my brain.

The Coles branded Aluminium foil that I purchased recently is actually made in China. I was wondering why my uploads spiked so much :)

2 ply? dont be so cheap

Interesting, it says my Asus router advertises CN as its country code, so I double checked my setting which is set to Australia.

How did you do that?

App might be slightly different, but on desktop, Advanced Settings -> Wireless -> Region at bottom of screen. I set to Australia but the app thinks it's CN.

Suspicious github with no source code and a bunch of random binaries.
Enjoy your trojan/virus everyone.

Since it's free there seems no good reason for the developer to withhold source code. Of course that does not guarantee the binaries match it but at least you could compile your own if you have the skills. Not a good sign, I'm tempted but will ignore the offer as too risky.

Noob question. What is this used for?

if you need to ask, you prob don't need it

I am here to learn new things too. Can I ask what is this for?

I shall "sniff" it out.
Thanks OP!
