In the same boat :(
I know I know it isn’t as cheap, but these wide ones for $200…
Picked up a 11.5 4E for $185 mid Nov last year..
Good luck with wide.
Are you punishing Hoka for Kogan's crime?
How so
You bought a knock off from a knock off site and decided that Hoka was to blame. Not you, not Kogan, but the manufacturer of a product you didn't buy.
How you know it’s a fake?
I couldn't find the model and color anywhere else. I was very disappointed.
Well it’s Kogan’s fault mate
You bought a fake shoes from Kogan and you blame the real shoe's brand.
Everyone's being a bit harsh. He didn't say he was blaming anyone, he just said he hasn't bought any since. It is useful to people to know that there are fake Hokas out there, and actually helps push people away from Kogan and potentially towards reputable places like this store
Nah everybody seems about right to me, personally I’d blame Kogan

What big feet you have
I have just ordered some shoes from this Hoka site and have been waiting for the new sign up $20 coupon. I waited for an hour but nothing. Did not know this Valentine’s Day code existed.
The Gaviota 5 is also on sale - $279 -> $159 with voucher.
Does anyone have experience using them? Are they good for walking?
Just purchased but haven’t tried - they seemed to be what I was after.
The review is pretty thorough - they cut the shoe in half!
Very comfortable everyday training shoe.

Anyone comment on Hoka sizing vs adidas?
I went to athletes foot and tried these before buying. 11 in addidas and am pretty much the same in these. Have gotten asics online in 11 and has been too big
Would these be the best for walking 20km a day in Japan, or are there more suitable styles? Wore Ultraboost 21s last time and they were pretty decent (and more in my budget than Hoka), but am looking for something better if possible!
Maybe the Brooks Ghost Max 3 or Glycerin Max? Have heard good reviews on them
Best to try them on in store. Put on both shoes, tie them up as you normally would, and walk around the store. Even then you won’t know what it’s like after 20km, but better than nothing.
Plenty of variables with shoes, even from one generation to the next of the same model.
Edit: have you recently changed your username? Very appropriate
I walked 15km/day in Europe and woukd say yes. But I agree that you should visit a store first to try them on.
On my second pair still a good shoe idk about blue though but yeah had the first pair tested and fitted at Athletes depends on your foot type.
shame 2E isnt on sale
I had Clifton 9s that fell apart after 7 months. They're only covered by a 6 month warranty. Never had this issue with any other brand runners!
fk hoka and never having a sale on wide….
