A man can dream
And the game still stutter because of poor optimisation lmao.
that damn unreal engine
It's like buying a car engine (CPU) and chassis (MB), without wheels (RAM).
I'd say RAM is more equivalent to the transmission… controls how quickly data is moved between CPU and working tasks akin to how the transmission transfers engine output to the wheels themselves.
Way overpriced, should be around the $650 mark.
bro think he marshmallow
A 5070 has 30B Transistors over a single large die, 12 Gigs of high speed memory, a board, power regulators and a large ass cooler with fans etc etc and costs a 1000 bux with driver teams releasing drivers for over half a decade. This chip is just 20B transistors exlcuding the v-cache, there is no much 3rd party profits like the GPUs AIB etc, less packaging and shipping costs and more money goes to AMD. I know it cannot be one to one compared that way, but the profit margin are probably higher on these. More competition required from Intel. I would be happy to pay 750ish to 800 for this. Just my thoughts. I am still upvoting this deal because its a good CPU and AMD definitely set the bar high for Intel.
Oh i saw this when i woke up and thought it was the new 9850x3d.
9950x3d is well worth it.
High end gaming cpu is now a rich people's thing lol
It's not a gaming cpu (that's the 9800x3d)
This is usually for someone who does productivity (usually getting paid for it) who games on the side.
Yes its probably not a dedicated gaming cpu but under volt and overclock is up there with the best. And after the gaming session then you can do productivity.
Don't buy if you are planning to install it in ASRock motherboard.

Update: ASRock now seem to have BIOS update to fix the issue

Happening on Asus boards as well.
who is still custom building pc in 2026?
Many people dude
Me - just finished building one on the weekend. Very happy
This is OzBargain, we find a way to build cheaper custom computers even with prices rising.
Nice CPU - just need 128 GB of top-spec DDR5 RAM and an RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell to pair it with.
