    $81.41 for me…

    • +3

Showing for me as $73.85 inc GST, through my union access.

    • same here. but still a great deal. good find OP

  • +2

Damn now I want the 160 Prime one, 3 usb c ports.

  • +3

Damn not that I need it I just bought it looks cool though

  • Thanks for this deal find, OP! I was waiting for the 160W one to go on sale as well, but realistically I don't need more than 100W for most of items and this goes well with my Anker 165W power bank that only recharges at 100W anyways! I had the old Anker 100W Prime wall charger and it used to overheat all the time and already had 2x RMA replacements.

Must be good, its got AI.

    • +1

What’s AI going to do - it’s just a wall charger lol

      • +11

It's a matter of time, before a cryptocurrency miner is bundled into one of these, and it'll be mining with 'free' electricity ;-)

  • Anker 25K 165W Power Bank with Built-in Retractable Cables is only $123.11 ! RRP is $199.95. Worth getting ?

    • was a bit lower last year. And whether or not you'd get a CCC one was the luck of the draw. My one was CCC.

      • i am tempted to get the 100 W GaN Wall Charger but i think im better off with waiting for the 160 W to go on sale.

  • +4

Can you turn off the display? The last thing I want is a bright dispay blaring in a dark room.

    • +3

the charger screen darkens after a few minutes. I have something charging right now and the screen is off

      • +3

When you say darkens, do you mean completely free of any light? The blue light from almost every bloody appliance these days messes with your sleep

        • -2

I do wonder what the difference is between blue light and a blue towel or bed sheet though.

        • Sorry, wrong wording. After a few minutes the display on the anker is completely off, no light at all.
This also applies to the 160w ugreen that i have too.

  • -6

Don't buy anker. Had the 33w busted after a year not recommended

Ugreen much better brand and reliable

Anker is expensive and does not last long

    • +8

I have the opposite experience. Heaps of Ugreen powerbank, cables, chargers died after a bit more than a year but non of my Anker devices die. I still have some Anker powerbank bought from over 5 years ago and they are still working fine.

agree I also have a old Anker PB that refuses to die, only 5V 3A it's so old. to be fair I think they were made of better batterie cells back then though, I bought it because someone opened it up and showed it had panasonic 18650 inside. a few years later someone opened a newer one and they silently switched to unbranded and I don't think it would still be alive like mine is.

        • -1

I've had some issues recently with one particular Anker product but their customer care have been great and replaced it immediately. Other than that, been using Anker and Ugreen for years and both have been reliable and great.

    • +3

A sample size of one isn't very definitive. Any brand will have duds.

    • I bought the 160w ugreen with display from aliexpress for around $70AUD delivered, it is straight pin so I need an adapter. I get an error sometimes with it where it actually draws the power from the device that I am charging. Regret the purchase.

    with digital display.

How does that help with the basic function of being a charger?

    • +3

This is not a basic charger. If you're after a basic charger they sell those too.

The display lets you know what the charging rate of your device is. Some people find it useful, some don't. The basic charger is for the people who don't find the extra info useful.

I use USB cables with a built-in display so I don't need a display on the charger. It lets me know at a glance if my devices are charging properly and at roughly what stage of the charging process it's at.

    • How does that help with the basic function of being a charger?

what most will find useful would be to see exactly how much power something is consuming (or how much energy went into say, a powerbank), and also if it's like their Anker powerbanks with similar display, it can show how many minutes until the device is charged.

I bought a USB-C power meter to measure power and capacity etc of things it has been very useful. it works best for capacity because it's bidirectional and I can put it at the end of the cable right before the device to measure how much energy is going in more accurately. it even shows resistance so you can test cables, which the Anker may not. fyi for any other newbies like me, charging a battery will always have some resistance it will never show 0 even if it was connected directly to battery, also the more the battery is charged the more resistance it will have. so best to test cables by charging a battery which is 50% charged or less.

sometimes devices claim to charge at X speed, but do not either because of bad marketing or USB negotiation standard. e.g. something might charge at full speed with QC but not with PD. sometimes it will negotiate correctly e.g. 30W PD, but then only uses like 1A max at 15V, making it only charge at 15W. so sometimes you can just plug it into a 18W port instead and use the higher power port for something else.

  • +1

    I like this one because.
1 the ports aren't facing up if you plug it into a powerboard. no more needing to vacuum dust out of the ports or watch out with liquids.

2 it has that fancy display telling you what's going on. only other compact model like this seems to be the Cuktech Ultra 10.

I would buy if I needed it.

I tested and reviewed this model a few months ago. It's a great unit, glad to see it's in Australia officially now!

    Episode 1
    https://youtu.be/SAoOo7GtIBI

Only ~ 2 of 10 units I've tested lasted over 1 hour at full power, the rest shut down. The Anker and the Aohi 140w.

    Episode two here: https://youtu.be/ZwoL0Z2v7wg

Note: Buy it from JB OzBargain link not mine which are intended for international audience.

Awesome, we have our own AllThingsOnePlace!

  • 80bux for a USB charger… fark moi!

  • I am getting $81.41…

  • a bit junky for a 100w IMO.

I'm using a anker 737 (120w) and looks like it's about half the size.

    • Sorry, just noticed what I typed.

      Was meant to say chunky

Please note the picture used above doesn't correspond to the Prime 100w (Picture is for the more expensive Anker Prime Charger (160W, 3 Ports, Smart Display). The 100w doesn't have smart display. Please refer to for accurate details: https://www.anker.com/au/products/a2688-anker-prime-charger-…

    • The model number listed on the JB product page is the Anker A121B. That's this model which has a smart display. The charger you linked to is the A2688.

      • Nope, you've used a link to US Model Eug. Might be that JB used the wrong model reference hence they don't show an image of the charger considering these are the models available locally : https://www.anker.com/au/anker-prime?ref=naviMenu

        • Nope, you've used a link to US Model Eug.

The base model number is the same regardless of the country. e.g. the Australian A2688 charger you linked to is also called the A2688 in the US.

Look at the power prongs in the deal photo above. Those are not US power prongs.

The text on the charger also says 100W and not 160W.

          • +1

@eug: I've order and received it, you are correct the model corresponds with the smart display version as per the image. I haven't tested yet, but seems to be very solid and good quality from a first glance. Thanks to
            googoogaga for spotting this one.

    • Incorrect. The old 100W charger had no smart display. However, the new one (this one) has a smart display. Anker doesn't sell it on their website in Australia just yet as it is brand new.

  • Does this charger support USB PD with PPS? How can I check if a charger is PPS-capable? I want to use it for gaming/bypass charging (S24 Ultra / Pause USB PD).

  • -1

    Hmm no digital display, but https://www.amazon.com.au/NOVOO-Charger-MacBook-3-Port-Compa… this does 100w max when using a single USB C port at $40. On multiple ports, C1 70W + C2 12W + USB-A 12W
