I thought you said you weren’t shopping with Kogan again after the bidet incident haha

Surely they've cleaned up their act since… Hahahah I'm still on the fence at the moment

      • If they couldnt clean your arse properly, doubt this will work

I mean technically they could, it just wasn't warm water. Which probably applies to their grey imports - Sounds good on paper but then you get a bit of a shock at the end.

Warning: No 2 year manufacturer warranty from Google. Only a 12 month Kogan warranty 😐

    • Even if it's direct import?

    • +1

I don't know where you got that from, but I bought the rose quartz from Kogan just last month and I can confirm it comes with 2 years warranty

3 years now on screens for some models: Pixel 9 Pro & Pixel 9 Pro XL Extended Repair Program - Pixel Phone Help https://share.google/5wKDWVlm9HvjR7wMF

My 3 year old pixel 7 had its battery puff while charging last week and Google is replacing the phone. Australian consumer laws work better than other warranties I feel.

Read in the thread that there is already an extended repair program for Pixel 9s wow!

  • The code is not working, Is it just for ebay plus members?

Anyone else still waiting on the amaysim Pixel 9 / 9 Pro deal to return? (doubt it will, but we can only hope)

    • +1

Very unlikely to be repeated anytime soon. doesn't look like they even hold stock of the pixel 9 anymore. Must have been a clear out.

Maybe when the pixel 11 is out you might start seeing the 9 around the $500 mark more regularly.

Worth wait for Samsung deals in 10 days?

  • The Google Pixel Tablet is a pretty good price at the moment too.

  • With all the 000 type dramas the past few years, I wouldn’t be jumping to spend this kind of money on imports.

    • Received mine and it’s working fine

      • There were some dramas around imports and 000 around the time 3G was switched off. E.g. their software wouldn’t work for 000 over LTE. Whilst new devices should be good for a while, there are so many different network bands in use now, I’d personally rather just buy locally. It’s fine if you do your research on the network bands though - I just wouldn’t assume Kogan has fully done this.

  • +1

Is it still the case that overseas imports don't have all the band coverage as a local phone? Or is that only from the 4g days

    • Different bands but most of the important ones are covered on all models now, plus most towers are multi band now. Isn’t as big of an issue.

      • Ok cool good to know

  • Would this be the mmWave model?

    • What's the difference?

  • There's a serious conflict here.
    Details state both 128GB & 256GB
    ???

    "Description:
    16GB RAM, 128GB storage"

    "What's in the Box:
    1 x Google Pixel 9 Pro XL 5G (256GB, Porcelain)"

Sheesh… how can you place an order based on that! 🤯

  • Rose colour is out of stock
