You might want to start sourcing your nuts from Australia. Those that are stored in humid conditions like container ships are known to develop mould.

Spot on. Amazon does not specify, but Pattu is usually product of India,
I know which one I'd rather eat.

Valid. But funny it isn't brought up on Aldi deals for non-Australian cashews.

Only slightly more per kg with free shipping
How is it free shipping ?

You don't have Prime?

Why would any OzBargainer, when you can get Target, Kmart, Bunnings, OfficeWorks and Priceline delivered for $20/year, free C&C pretty much anywhere, and free Amazon delivery on anything above $59??

@wisdomtooth: You make it sound like you can't have Prime and OnePass. I've also have Ebay Plus.
Prime is always my first pick for fastest delivery and no questions asked free returns.
delivery on anything above $59
Doesn't help me when I run low on toilet paper and what it delivered the next morning.

Sure, you can. You just can't call yourself an OzBargainer 😄

Sounds like OzLazy 😂

Where to get unnatural ones?

Natural just means they are raw and not roasted.

Natural just means they are raw and not roasted.
Not quite, they also use that term for cashews which have been steam roasted.
Raw cashews are toxic, they contain the toxin urushiol, which can be inactivated by extreme heat. So all cashews are roasted to inactivate the toxin, but the cashews that say roasted have been oven-roasted instead of steam-roasted.
I don't know if these almonds and walnuts are actually raw, I'm just pointing out that "natural" doesn't mean "not roasted".

By roasted I meant cooked, as that's how almonds are cooked.
Natural = raw = uncooked.

Oh I just bought something else a few days ago 😢 😭

Love how the packaging says "suitable for vegans" on the front, but only "suitable for vegetarians" on the back.
Given Almonds are pollinated by bees, not sure if some vegans will eat them?

😆
Come as a vegan,
leave as a vegetarian.

My girlfriends love DEEZ NUTZ!!!!!!!!!
They also like macadamia nuts, but they are too expensive.

Ramadan Mubarak

A handful of these a day confers a whole lot of benefits to a pimp feel me?

Only if you roast or soak them, otherwise you're ingesting antinutrients—phytic acid, oxalates…—that bind with and deprive you of minerals.

Only slightly more per kg with free shipping. Worth it to not have to go to Aldi imo.
