I'd possibly give it a go at that price, but the reviews (mainly around app control) definitely make it sound like a gamble.

Ah wifi didn't work for me either but I didn't think too much of it because a remote serves me well.
Need to turn off 5ghz connect it via 2.4 and then it should work. Although after I turned 5ghz back on it worked for a while then stopped working. I run both my bands with the same network ID so this sometimes causes issues. If you have separate IDs make sure it's connecting to the 2.4ghz.
Got two during the cheaper deal - at sub $50 they're worth it and we might get one more, but not at $70.

Got it from last deal. Looks good on my living room. Didn’t bother with Tuya integration.
Jeepers … most of the 4/5 star reviews seem to have come from people who didn't have to pay for it!
Also, I couldn't see anywhere on the listing where they actually showed the size of the unit.
I have one for about a year, bought for 129 at HN. it is good as a fan but have lots of issues:
1. If you finally set up app and it — next power loss to fan will reset your connection
2. Remote needs almost sniper accuracy.
One nice feature though — it wont run continuously and will shit itself down after about 10 hours or so. Nice if you leave it working for a night
