  • This must really suck for such a large discount…

    • OMG this is hilarious, I don’t think I’ve ever heard this before on OzBargain, ever, at all….

      • Usernames check out.

        Batman vs TheFreak.

        • Meh I’m too tired today, TheFreak will beat me, unless you have my back…. Nickle….

          • @BatmanAU: Look at this paragraph. Every time I do it makes me laugh

            • @Gambo: Im feeling you were breaking out into a song when you started typing that, I know I did reading it ;)

            • @Gambo: Took me a minute to get this. You are such a joker, a good one at that.

      • you must be living in some kind of a vaccuum

  • Reviews are not terrible after a quick search (~4+). Price elsewhere is ~$400+.
Is this a really good deal or there is a catch?

    • The $400 price on the other sites seem to include an auto emptying bin but this one doesn't seem to include one. Maybe this is normal price?

    • I’m really happy with ours from Boxing Day, my partner loves it! Seems equal to her sister’s Dyson V10, battery lasts surprisingly long, and much nicer colour scheme too (“it’s classy” apparently). Can’t go wrong.

  • Brought the R10 on another deal for $130, genuinely impressed. Z10 is superior.
Blew the Dyson V8 I had out of the water.

    • Bought, you bought it. Not brought.

        • Just when brought is used for bought. I don't even bother with ex-presso.

Surely you'd want to know if your fly was undone in public? You wouldn't want to know if you got a word completely wrong also?

          • @studentl0an: Glad you bought that up.

            • @mrdeal13: Yeah it's not great, but it needs to be done.

What's worse is what you're doing by arguing with the guy making the correction because you want to virtue signal that you really care about the feelings of the person being corrected when they made a mistake.

              • @studentl0an: It doesn't need to be done at all. Not everyone wants to be corrected.

                • @mrdeal13: I don't care if they do or don't want to be corrected. I care that it is corrected. You care about showing off to others that you care about feelings so much that you want people to make the same mistakes over and over, and never learn.

                  • @studentl0an: How bizarre, do you often do things to others that they don't want?

                    • @mrdeal13: Like you going on and on when it's clear I don't care about your argument?

            • @mrdeal13: This is a great example of being kind vs being nice.

              • @abcdefg5: Would you walk up to a random group of people and correct something they said to each other?

          • @studentl0an: @studentl0an do you consider typos as mistakes, What was your studentl0an for, PHD in English?

            • @TaurusHead:

What was your studentl0an for, PHD in English?

Probably High School certificate is the aim for now.

Higher education implies listening of what is said, the meaning, and not how it was written/pronounced.

          • @studentl0an: Do you also correct foreign accents??

Do you actual understand the meaning of what is said or only focus on correcting?

        • Is Ozbargain a simulation of reality? Bargains too good to be true?

        • When you see a stranger correcting another stranger in real life, do you approach them and make an unsolicited comment like you did here? See? This is not real life.

      • He brought it home for $130. :p Either way. Who cares? The English language is stupid! And I say that as a so-called "native" speaker.

Bought, bough, cough, through, rough, thorough, lough, hiccough, tomayto tomahto. Spare me.

        • That sounds betarded.

          • @studentl0an: If you struggle with comprehension and/or pedantry, I guess it would. Apart from those folks, like I said "Who cares"??

            • @Fredorishi: Many people care, especially those making the mistakes so they can learn from them. If no one tells them, then how would they learn?

I imagine you'd care if you had food in your teeth, fly undone and snot coming out your nose without noticing when in public, but no one cared to tell you beforehand because they could still comprehend you.

              • @studentl0an: Where does it end? Do you also jump into random strangers’ conversations if you hear an incorrect statement? Butting in is nosy and unnecessary.

                • @mrdeal13: Of course. The other day I heard a colleague tell another that the capital of Serbia is Kosovo. Why wouldn't you correct someone when they are making a mistake, or help them notice something that's wrong? Are you that insular that you don't want to help others upskill, but you'd want to virtue signal to others that you care about their feelings so you want them to be wrong?

                  • @studentl0an: I'm not talking about colleagues. I said strangers (like the one you corrected in this thread).

Would you jump in and correct 2 strangers having a conversation about Serbia on the bus?

                    • @mrdeal13: Of course. Those colleagues are practically strangers also.

              • @studentl0an: Ohhhhhhh, so it's out of benevolance then? Well aren't you a kind hearted soul.

So tell me, when you're walking down the street and see a guy on his way to an interview with his fly undone, do you make sure a bunch of people are watching before you loudly proclaim that the person has their fly undone?

What if it was superman and you just stopped him taking his pants off so he could change and go rescue someone?

                Never heard of a typo?

But sure, it's allll about helping someone, cos you're here to make sure everyone has perfect spelling and grammar and to teach us all how to do things to your standards, yeah? Ozbargain is so lucky to have you!

                • @Fredorishi: We all know this studentl0an person wouldn't say a word to strangers in person. It's all online bravado.

      • I'm assuming they did both: They bought it then brought it (home).

        • Or maybe was never bought and just brought home … the plot thickens …

          • @LFO: Thats why he is so touchy about being corrected ;D

      • Spelling/grammar nazi is working overtime today.

  • This are whats in the box as per the description.

    1x Principle vacuum machine
    1x Dust removal hub
    1x Combination tool
    1x Dust removal base
    1x Extension rod
    1x Motorised mini brush
    1x Accessory mount
    1x Multisurface brush
    1x Soft dusting brush
    1x Dust collection bag
    1x Soft roller brush
    1x User manual
Essentially this is the Z10 station with self empty hub which retails for 899$(499$ at the moment on Dreame website) Pretty good deal if this is the case.

    • No picture of the hub though. Description might be a mistake

      • I'm in need of a new vacuum. Not entirely interesting in the hub if it doesn't come with it, but if it does, that's a bonus. Just ordered with Uber delivery so I'll know in the next 2 hours whether it comes with the removal hub.

        • Please report back!

        • Keep us posted.

        • Just received it. Doesn't come with the dust removal hub. Could potentially argue the point given it's in the listing, but I think it would've ended up in landfill at mine.

          • @sghetti: those damn scammers

          • @sghetti: Does it come with a regular wall dock then?

            • @ATangk: Correct, it comes with the wall mount, screws and plugs as well as the separate wall charger.

              • @sghetti: Can you share a photo of the wall mount?
I want to see if i can mount on my Dyson floor stand. Hoping the screw holes on the mount is the same.

          • @sghetti: Does the JB HiFi bundle come with two (large) brushes - one for carpets/rugs and one for floorboards? (as suggested in the description)

The Dreame website only mentions a single "multi-surface brush".

            https://dreame.com.au/products/dreame-z10-stick-vacuum

            • @Charlie Dont Surf: It comes with the 4 separate heads. The large floorboard one, the mini motorised one (for carpet/couches etc.), a crevice tool and a soft dust brush.

              • @sghetti: Thanks, I mis-read the JB Hi-Fi description. I bought a Dreame V9 bundle on here a few years ago (still working!) which had two large brushes - one for carpets and one for floorboards. So I was a little unclear on this.

          • @sghetti: How easy it is to empty the dust compartment without the emptying dock?

    • Based on the model number, it looks like this doesn't come with the base station, but it does have a wall mount.

      https://dreame.com.au/products/dreame-z10-stick-vacuum

    • Any way to charge?

    • But this is what I can see in the description

      What's in the box?

      1x Z10 Main Body
      1x Z10 Extension Rod
      1x Motorised Mini-Brush
      1x Multi-surface Brush
      1x Combination Tool
      1x Soft Dusting Brush
      1x Accessory Mount
      1x Wall Mount

    • @tin man, I'd be careful or @studentl0an is gonna send you to the gas chamber.

  • They have a clearance listing advertised as Z10 station which is $397
    https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/dreame-z10-station-stick-

Does the the OP link include the charging station?

  • buy first, think later

  • thanks OP bought 1

  • thanks bought 1

  • Back to $499?

    • put in the code after you add it in your cart

  • This or Xiaomi G20 Lite?

    • I believe the G20 Lite lacks the tangle-free brush, smaller dustbin, lower suction, shorter battery life, but the deal breaker for me was the G20 Lite doesn’t look to have a user replaceable battery. We went through this decision process and settled on this Dreame at Black Friday sales and have been happy.

    • Put the coupon code in.

  • bought, Thanks op!

  • thanks OP! Got one - will be a good addition to the Dreame Robot vaccuum for quick jobs/skirting boards etc

  • Copped. Need something portable for the car since my building doesn't give any access to power to residents :(

    • We gave residents access to power, lol they started charging their cars and one blew the whole circuit.

      • Do a better job then and give them proper access.

        • Sure did, got Ev chargers installed

  • Bought one, hoping it's better than the Dyson V8

    • 100%, better.
      We have the v8 too.
This will be our main vac now.

      • Fantastic to hear!

      • You haven’t even used the Dreame yet lol.

        • Our friend has the same setup, and can confirm it's better. We have compared the Dreame z10 with the v8.

          Don't assume mate…

  • This one doesn't have a removable battery right?

    • There's a photo on the actual company product page that seems to picture the battery disconnected from the main unit for charging

    • Just received mine, the battery pack can be released and charged separately from the unit.

      • does it come with the dock/hub/auto clean?

        • As in a separate reply thread. No it hasn't come with the dust removal hub.

  • I was looking into this vacuum and then I came across the Dreame D10s robot vacuum for $169 at Amazon. I got the robot vacuum instead.

    • I want a robovac but can never find one that will climb rugs

      • Most do ok with low pile rugs but not thick rugs/carpets. I have a Xiaomi robovac and used mainly on hard floors and it's been great for almost 3yrs now. Replaced the batt once.
