Received email and saw social media post. Same offer as Nov/Dec 2025. I rang Costco and there is no expiry date listed.

  • In-store only and both persons have to be there.
  • The same address is eligible. I checked with Costco.
  • Gold Star Membership $65 per year: $20 Costco Shop Card each for you & your friend.
  • Gold Star Executive Membership $130 per year: $40 Costco Shop Card each for you & your friend.

Terms & Conditions

  • Referring and new member must both be present at the time of sign-up.
  • Executive Members who refer a friend to join as an Executive Member will each receive a $40 Shop Card.
  • Goldstar or Business members who refer a friend to join as a Goldstar or Business member will each receive a $20 Shop Card.

    What happens if you're a goldstar/business member but refer someone who signs up to a exec membership? Do you get $20 or $40 GC?

      That's a fair assumption. Exec either party gets $40.

        When I rang in Nov last year, I was told if non-Exec refers to Exec, only $20 each. Exec refers to Exec will be $40 each. There is also a business version of Exec.

    Have approached some "friendly" looking people queuing to signup, they think it's a scam, rather not take the "free" money than a calculated "risk".

    How do they consider new? I currently have a member, and my wife has the secondary card, and can I invite my wife and get 2x $40 gift cards?

      This does not make sense. Your wife will need to sign up for Exec Membership for you to get 2x$40.

      Can't find the info online for Costco AU. For Costco US, a secondary (household) cardholder on a Costco membership is not considered a "new customer".

    My comment from last deal was unpublished and account got penalised. So funny when the deal is for in person and you can’t let people organise in person meet to obtain the deal

    I believe the comments above this one also got unfair penalty by mod.
