How cheap do you want? Can get a TP-Link Omada 8 port managed for $80 which is decent. I've had a good experience with Omada stuff.
OP's is quite a normal price.
Its managed version counterpart (https://www.amazon.com.au/TP-Link-5-Port-Gigabit-Switch-TL-S…) is $48.50 now. It's usually $55-$59.90. I got one - running for months without any need to restart. It got VLAN and POE auto-restart. It doesn't monitor power consumption on each port (or at least, I don't know how to).

If you need poe+ and 8 ports, the tl-sg108pe is not bad. If you're running the newer tplink EAPs don't skip on poe+, they require the extra power. I learned the hard way when my speeds went from 100/20 to 500/50 a few months ago. After days of trouble shooting it was my old poe switch that was the bottleneck. Got a poe+ switch and fixed the problem.
Only 4 of the ports on the sg108pe are poe+. If you need all 8 to be poe+ there's the ES208GP.
$75 and $89 on amazon respectively. The 5 port are cheaper as mentioned in another post.

Hi there, what kind of symptoms do you get when the PoE is under-powered for the AP?
Currently I am running an EnGenius AP (wifi 7 2x3x3 including the 6GHz) with PoE+ spec on a PoE only switch, haven't got around to sorting out a proper PoE+ switch. The AP seems to idle around 7W and spikes to about 10W when I run speed test with one client.
It seems to run okay, no drama so far but I am not really putting much load on it in a residential home setting. And can't tell if I am actually missing out on some of the performance. Wondering if I can skip PoE+ altogether
@BlueSkyAPI: I was getting drop outs and at times very slow download speeds. But I'm running 3 EAP 670s. I couldn't figure out the issue after my service got upgraded to 500/50. I did a speeds test and would spike to 500Mbps and then immediately drop to around 100Mbps and cause my EAPs to re-boot. Tried a few poe only switches and same issue, just not enoigh power. Bought a poe+ soon after and haven't had any issues since.
@tman2020: thank you for sharing your experience - I'll look out for reboots and speed drops.
my AP's default config keeps the transmit power pretty low from the max specification and I am connecting on 1GbE rather than 2.5GbE so wouldn't be surprised if the situation changes.

is TP-Link gateway good? had some old impression the interface was not the best experience (slow, possibly low-spec hardware). Review has some references to slow startup time also.
For The hardware-based gateway devices Unifi ones seem to have improved lots in the last year but I am yet to try it.
I am sticking with virtualised OPNSense/pfSense/RouterOS, just being used to them. RouterOS boots superfast compared to other products.
One of my PCs connects to the internet via this Switch, and the speed is always around 100 Mbps. Other PCs connected directly to the TP-Link router and they all get around 500 Mbps which is my ISP speed plan. It's an unmanaged switch so nothing I can do.
Do you think the issue could be with the switch? Is it connected using RJ45?
What connection do you have from your PC to the switch?
I am thinking to upgrade to this switch because it seems I need to used Ubiquiti power adapter that has speed limit.

Are you sure you didn’t buy the 100Mbps model?
As I said, it's an unmanaged switch. It will negotiate connection speeds with the router by itself, compared to a managed switch where the user can modify the settings if they think the speed is not right. BTW network chips of all my PCs are Gigabit so this eliminates the PC is the bottleneck.
I am only saying that's what happens to me. Your mileage may be differrent.
Unmanaged switches can still have speed limitations. Note that the model in this deal is a gigabit switch, compared to the model linked below which is 100Mbps.
The fact that it is unmanaged has nothing to do with the speeds it is capable of doing.
Google the model number of your switch and you’ll find out pretty quickly.

Is 62-64W power budget which seems to be the range for most of the switches mentioned in the comments as well sufficient for majority use cases?
Im pretty new to networking but setting up a homelab environment but I was going through some of the older deals and people really seemed to love the 135W Power Budget on the KeepLink 8 port switch
Would half the budget(62-64W) still be ok and relatively future proof?
Right now going to be setting up 2-3 Wireless AP’s. Security Camera System for the house. Possibly door lock + video doorbell. 1-2 VoIP phones
