‘Excellent’ grade ‘refurbs’ for ultra 2 start from around 700 after discounts on eBay but stock fluctuates
Last time they put the Ultra 2 on clearance it was $799.
Given an Ultra 3 is $1399 and regularly on sale for $1299 this isn’t an amazing deal for what is now older tech.

Ultra 3: S10 chipset, satellite connectivity, faster 5G connectivity, 6 more hours of battery and 25% faster charging. Personally, I think it 3 is worth paying for compared to 2.

I bought an AWU2 from eBay (refurb store) came with AppleCare+. Think I paid ~$650 (black edition). Worked to be a pretty sweet deal considering it cover accidental damage etc.

Just had a look and the listing is now OOS (purchased end of last year). The seller was Loop Mobile, worthwhile keeping an eye on their store. They often have good coupon codes, from memory I got 20% off. I’ve bought a few Apple Watches from them over the years. Highly recommend.
i think stuart got lucky - i just received a ultra 2 via a refurb store paid $673 (titanium )- and it was classed as 'as new' - its paired fine and surprisingly battery still reads as 100% capacity in settings. Apple coverage checker says it was originally purchased in 2024 with no extra coverage… how odd battery still 100% unless it just sat unused. The ultra 2 as the ad says looks mint, came with the original box, no strap, and official unused apple charger.

I wear ssc813p for anything slightly formal - otherwise loving my ultra 2 now

The Milanese Loop Ultra3 is $1549 so $1197 is not a bad option for the Ultra2.

I will prob suggest to try the Milanese loop out in store though, I always thought I wanted a 3 in black with the Milanese loop - but I just couldn’t get over the janky clasp. Will prob pick up an 11 to replace my old 7
I got the Ultra1 when Costco had it sub $1000. I love the extra screen real estate.
I have a third party Milanese loop. It is just a magnetic clasp which is easier. I like the loop but it can come loose at sometimes, the colour tends to wash out with wear and the edges can fray à little over time,
I went down this road in Jan. Ended up price beating a UW3 for about $1250.
