  • Anyone know if there is a way to get the promo again if the time already lapsed for the original offer?

    • +1

Yeah, in the same boat! I was thinking of deleting the account and recreating it - but I don't know if there are any restrictions with that. Haven't made any purchases on the business account yet.

  • +1

Thanks. I didn’t receive the email, but the promo is showing on the banner. I wouldn’t have noticed it if you hadn’t posted.

    • Saw the banner yesterday, but today it's gone.

      Still there for you?

  • Still got my original sign up promo to use by the end of the month. Haven't found anything to use it on yet, so at least I know this one's around if it elapses

  • i was offered 25% off via a non subscribed account

  • +1

No email or banner for me

  • Do you convert your personal account into a business one or do you open a second business one? If it's the latter, do you have to pay a second prime sub? If it's the former, do you keep all the personal prime benefits?

I've got an email offering the same if I sign up to business.

I think you can do it either way, but I'm very confused by whatever the hell I did when I signed up to business last year. I did so while signed in to my personal account, but it asked me for my business email if I recall correctly. Now within the App, or the website, I have my personal account via gmail, but I can switch to my business account which is linked to my business email, both have Prime but I only pay for 1 subscription however.

      • Are the prices better on business?

        • +1

          Sometimes

        • +1

Frequently about ten percent cheaper (varies), but the catch is that from the business account, some products aren't available, and you can be fooled into assuming they're just not on Amazon at all

        • +1

Often the same however I signed up six months ago when they were offering $100 off your first basket, and this brought in another $75 discount on a $400 4TB SSD ($320 delivered) , so not bad really. Worth having one I would say.

          • @DisasterArea: Good. I'll give it a shot. You have an abn as well?

    • +1

Essentially can use your current sub, it just adds another account to your existing (business), and you can switch between either from the one login

    • +1

If you’re using your existing prime account email it will ask if you want to be in a prime duo. You just have to accept it and once they verify your business you’ll be good to go, as an Amazon PrimeDuo member in which you can switch between your accounts to do the purchase paying only 1 subscription for prime. For around half of the products I’ve seen are cheaper buying with business.

      • THIS. and yes, you need an ABN

Now tell us what to buy

  • Thanks got a mouse I didn't really need

  • Does this get automatically applied? I have a month to use it but don't want to use it for a current order?

    It comes up as AmazonBusinessPromo

    • +1

You can untick it before paying, but hard to do if there is another promo coupon as they combine it

    • +1

The discount is continuous until the $75 quota is all used up, so its not like for 1 purchase only if that was your concern, i dont know if this was intentional as it does say one time use, but it seems to be the case on my account

  • The offer only applies to items Fulfilled by Amazon at the website www.amazon.com.au.

Note it needs to be … fulfilled by Amazon AU. I activated and it didn't work for Amazon US fulfilled order through au website. Don't activate unless it's this.

  • +1

I don't want to use mine on a small order, but some feedback above was that it will apply continuously until the $75 quote of discounts is reached. Are others finding this too?

    • +2

      Yes

  • I just got this offer email in the last couple of days, so they are still sending them out.

    • Just showed up on my frontpage today

  • Mine had expired but I thought probably still worth being able to split my purchases. So had to setup a new account for business as guessing I shouldn't convert my existing one to business? And now can't get past the mobile phone section as it's obviously already in use (with my existing account).
