Hi all,
Recently I decided to start tracking all of my subscriptions so i can budget more effectively. I ended up going through six months of bank statements and found I was spending over $10,000 on subscriptions. Some I knew about, some I justified by thinking "ill maybe use it this month", others, i had completely forgotten about.
I spent around two hours manually entering every single one an existing app based on my bank statement. And the tracker itself was a subscription, which felt like quite ironic.
So i thought i would create one myself, so i can use it going forward. I've been using it for a few weeks and its genuinely saved me money and make me more conscious of my spending.
A quick rundown on how it works: you upload a bank statement (PDF, CSV, Excel, screenshot even) and it picks out every recurring charge automatically. You review what it found, keep what you want to track, and it sends you an email reminder the day before each renewal so you can cancel before you get charged again. It uses AI to do this - this is the only time your data leaves your device. The app never stores any of your data (other than the subscriptions).
I also wrote guides for Aussies to delete popular services. Because sometimes (most of the time), the cancel button is buried three menus deep or requires a phone call. Those are free on the blog for anyone to use, of course.
On the privacy side, your statement gets processed and then deleted. No bank login, no ongoing connection to your accounts, nothing stored.
I'm not a fan of software that charges you monthly and then cuts you off when you stop paying. You're basically renting it. So this is a one time payment and you keep access forever.
Normally $12.99 AUD, use code AUSSIEAUSSIEAUSSIE for $9.99.
Happy to answer any questions and im open to all kinds of feedback!
Thank you!!!
Chris
