I'd hate to know what the original price was…

    • most of it is 50% off

        I fell off my chair.

Are you gunning for Lance Stroll’s seat?

          • +1

@NinjaChicken: Unfortunately probably the most locked in seat in F1 (as long as daddy runs the show :))

    • +1

In 2023 I paid about $180 AUD for an Oscar Piastri team shirt in Singapore at the merch store at the track.

I'm going to Albert Park this year where I expect to be paying the same or even more.

It IS insane. But it was for my 50th birthday so I splurged.

Even if in this lot if there was the rain jacket I'd get it, if Oscar had won last year I'd buy some of that gear, but unfortunately I'll probably just see what they have in the merch stores at the track again. The 2026 gear looks really different.

Castore is world renowned for it's terrible quality but the New Era hats will be good.

    • +1

+1 for this, all my Castore jerseys have lasted less than a year even with minimal wear and babying it in the wash, the prints/logos just crack immediately.

      • silly boy these are not for wearing or washing

you are supposed to shove them in a display case to show your papaya pride

      • Yep I have the papaya Ricciardo team polo from Castore. Worn twice and already have a cracked australian flag print.

    Here's a + for the epic description.

Don’t forget that Oscar’s meat also comes with two portions of his special sauce.

Cant support a team that cooked Oscar's strat last year. Dead to me now.

    • For this reason my favourite driver is Oscar but favourite team is Williams.

If you just watch the package of 2025 Oscar highlights you can see how often he got screwed over. McLaren suck.

      • +1

Oh look lando had a slow pitstop, "swap positions please oscar".

Oh look oscar has a slow pitstop "TOO BAD SO SAD".

        "Bias?? what bias??" O.o

        • +1

Oh, no I especially loved the "Careful Oscar remember how we go racing" when he was fighting Lando and got close (no contact). Or the "hold station" at Melbourne.

But It's fine for Lando to barge into him at Singapore and quite literally push him aside, and it's "fair play, carry on".

McLaren are maggots. Also didn't raise a peep when he got the 10 second at Silverstone. Horner or Toto would have been fighting with the stewards if it was their drivers, but nada from McLaren.

OK I'll stop now I'm still just a little touch upset (can you tell? LoL)

          • +1

@Ramrunner: mclaren are maggots and especially zac brown but i like lando and as much as i like oscar he friggin' cooked himself in the 2nd half

literally what the hell was that

but he'll be back… i think he has a great model on what not to do…. ie. his own manager

            • @tonyjzx: Baku was a huge brainfart - I agree. Totally his own fault.

Not saying he didn't make mistakes I just felt McLaren had him on a leash as soon as they saw him starting to beat Lando consistently before that.

I'm not entirely convinced his lack of form after the summer break was him "adapting to low grip tracks" as there were plenty of low grip tracks at the start of the year he was fast at, but accepting that rhetoric from McLaren then yes he has to work on his low grip skills.

He wasn't as bad as you say though! After that dreadful Baku:

              1 spot behind Lando Singapore
              1 spot behind Lando USA
Mexico and Brazil were 5th and 6th with Lando winning BUT don't forget he got that stupid penalty when Kimi turned in on him (think it was Brazil) on one of them.
Finished IN FRONT of Lando in Qatar
1 spot behind Lando Abu Dhabi

So "cooked himself" was a bit strong. In Baku - sure even I was gobsmacked at the amount of mistakes he was making, maybe Monza was still on his mind (where he was forced to swap positions because Lando had a bad pit stop).

Price too high, even with discount imo

    • True, but I'll probably buy at the track at full price this year anyway, with all the money I saved using OzBargain LoL.

Nothing copmares to the price we had to pay to get to Albert Park this year. I flew, stayed, and had grandstand tickets (x2) to Singapore in 2023 for about $7k.

This year Albert park was sold out and we could only get package deals. $9K for 2 without flights. If it wasn't for the fact it's a family reunion I wouldn't be going.

But to be fair I'm going to love it when I'm there. Not going to lie I am a motorsport nut.

      • +1

yeah but i mean this is what you get with offiical quasi prestige gear

$60-$90 for a polo is about right for what this is… its high but how many are you likely to buy in your lifetime… RRP is insane and prices on the track are criminal but people have money so… take it
