  • which one has the SD card slot?

    • nothing

      • So the nothing phone has nothing :p

    • If you want sd slot, go with cmf phone

      • But no esim. Need dual Sim for nano + SD +esim

        • one problem at a time 😆. Next person will complain about no wireless charging or wireless fast charging 🤣

          • @kaleidoscope: Haha nah I know I have limiting requirements. Not many phones fit them. Why I ended up with a Sony experia a couple of years ago.
Above + NFC + decent camera + dual active SIM not just dual SIM

    • 3a Lite has MicroSD

  • 4a was just announced.
I'm happy withy 2a for now.

    • No price yet but I am not paying $699

    • Thanks for letting us know. We were all wondering if owners of previous models will upgrade or not.

    • Yeah, I'm still really liking my 2a.

  • 3a Pro=$100 extra just for a slightly better telephoto camera?

      • The 3a Pro also has e-sim, that the 3a doesnt.

    • Personally I feel like it's not worth it. The camera is more of an OS/software issue rather than a hardware one.

      Source: long-term owner of a 3a.

    • And the pro support esim

      • You can just buy an e-sim adapter like the deal the other day

      • Is esim support not a given? I thought it was standard like NFC.

        • strangely this is where they decided to save up

          • @Coppermelt: On their official AU site says e-sim supported

            • @Kansin: only on the pro. you can go and check in Jbhifi they got demo units

  • im not sure im a fan of Nothing brand - got headphone recently and they broke in like 1 month, support is non existent - the issue ive had has been plastered over the net for last 1 year so they are aware of with no fix offered and countless angry customers.
I would rather get a motto or some other better known brand then this mob.
    just my 2 cents

    • I like my nothing wireless earbuds, better than the edifiers I had previously.

      • Sounds good yes but quality issues all around , good luck

    • Under Aus Consumer Law the business who sold the product has to deal with any warranty claim. They're not allowed to palm you off to the manufacturer.

      • That's not what Optus says , it's only 3 month old buds

        • Doesn't matter what Optus says. The law is the law, they need to provide a resolution or you go to Fair Trading and file a complaint.

    • Weird. I've got a pair of CMF buds pro 2 and they sound great and have had 0 issues since day 1.

    • Hmm.. unlucky. I hope my Nothing Ear 3 lasts lol.. so far so good.

      • thugs aren't stupid, they know you have a phone.
      • thugs aren't stupid, they're familiar with nothing and the value of most phone models
      • oh come on,..it was a joke ok?

  • Fip6 down to $760, not sure if that's good value for this phone, but seems quite cheap?

  • how long is android support for Nothing Phone (3a)?

    • Android 15. Up to Android 18. Security updates until 2031

      • thanks, why are the handsets so expensive or am I being unrealistic expecting them to go under $300? Moto G54 and G86 similar specs have gone way under than $300 in the last few months. Im comparing Moto with also redmi note 15. yes hardware and support is better but does this demand the extra $$$?

  • Anyone that does app development with nothing phones? Wanted to know if had run into issues with it.

  • Great specs for a fantastic price. I'd buy one if I was in the market for a phone

  • The best phone.

    • Wow that's a big call!!! Have you compared it against the more expensive ones?

      • I am Clear. Clear is Nothing. Nothing is Clear. Therefore Nothing is the best phone.

        • How come I'm so confused by your comment then if you're meant to be Clear?

          • @WatchNerd: Have you met my alter ego? UnClear.

      • But I also want the upcoming 4a in cherry blossom pink. I wish it kept the glyph lights from the 3a and below. It's still better than the glyph matrix 🤮

  • Had a 3a for a few weeks and took it back to get a pixel 8a for 399. Pixel is so much better.

    • How was it better?

    • Where did youbget pixel dor the price?

    • I hate how 30% of the pixels homepage is a widget that you can't remove without 3rd party launchers that break animations lol

  • My iPhone 13 is about to die so considering going back to an Android. Thanks OP might look into the 3A.

  • The code isn't working for me just. Just says failed?

    • It's working

      • Don't know what to tell you mate but it's definitely not for me. Put the code in at checkout and it says failed.

  • Is there an easy way to see where the code works? This isn’t marked as clearance, is it applying in error?

  • Geez not much else good in the phone section. Samsung Galaxy S25+ 256GB Navy on clearance for a ridiculous $1684 ($1431 with discount). You can get the S26 Ultra for less than that.

  • Thanks OP, bought the 12/256 for my mother,
    $450 delivered !!

  • Nothing phone has slow charging (confirmed with forum comments I've read) and no NFC, so no payments, no scanning myki etc

    • Nothing (3a) and (3a) Pro have NFC. A full charge takes 1 hour and 6 minutes. 90%/hr charging speed is not slow.

  • Was going to get a moto but this looks good.
Watching this sold me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uh_gGTXk30g seems like a cool guy

    • I watched this video too but it sounded really braggy and cheesy.

      • Fair take. I took it as the boss who loved his company and product. You want someone like that at the top. I thought he sounded authentic

  • Great phone, but their custom AI button below the power button did my head in. I kepted pressing it, without being able to disable whilst it was mounted on car. Otherwise great price.

    • thanks for the neg, i was simply sharing a feedback reg the annoying button and AI Features. I just found that using ADB you can reprogram the button.

  • Anyone who picked the 3-day delivery, have you got any tracking email yet ?
Mine’s supposed to be delivered by Monday, and no shipping confirmation email yet !

  • after lot of consideration Ive ended up buying this through Jb, used $30 perks voucher to further bring this down to $347.40 - Topcasback for GC which reduced it to $337. Not bad, thank you.

  • Finally got it delivered, always nice to play around with a new device !
