Kicking off on the 1st of March from 7pm is the next AliExpress sale. From what I hear March is expected to be even better than February in terms of discounts. TopCashback and Shopback will have upsized cashback during this period.

Each coupon has a limited number of redemptions. Expect the high value coupons to reach the maximum redemption period first. AliExpress may restock coupons at random from 7pm AEDT each day. From the AliExpress app on the sale page you can see if coupon codes are available to "copy" or are "restocking" (out of stock).

Minimum spend excludes GST and shipping. AUD amounts are estimates and may fluctuate due to exchange rate changes. USD amounts do not fluctuate.

Handy price saving tips:

AliExpress Coins can be redeemed for larger discounts (up to 95%) on most products.

To use AliExpress Coin super discounts:

  • Download the AliExpress app
  • Go to Coins on the home page or Account → Coins
  • Purchase products from this page to get the discount
  • You’ll see products with higher coin discounts based on your browsing patterns
  • Use the Discount Finder to locate bigger Coin discounts on items from your search history or cart

AliExpress Local+

AliExpress have now made it easier to identify products located in Australia with the Local+ banner. These products ship from Australia, often from Amazon via MFC and will not incur a GST charge at checkout.

Coupon error codes explained:

Congrats on reading this far. Here's the reason the codes aren't applying (hint: set to USD as said countless times)

Unable to apply promo code. The total after discount (excl. shipping) doesn't meet the minimum purchase amount

GST and shipping are not included in the minimum spend and some items in your cart may be ineligible for the promotion. AUD amounts are estimates and may fluctuate due to exchange rate changes, while USD amounts do not fluctuate. To avoid issues consider switching your currency to USD and ensure the minimum spend is met before applying the code.

This coupon code can’t be used in combination with other discounts

This means the item is already discounted, excluded from the promotion or a new user “welcome deal” is being applied which prevents additional coupons from being used.

Sorry, the coupon code you entered is based on a first-come, first-served basis and has already been used by other shoppers.

This means the coupon has reached its maximum number of redemptions. AliExpress may restock these codes at random, so it’s worth checking again later.

This coupon code is now unavailable. Try collecting another

This means the coupon has already been used, you have reached the maximum number of uses allowed per user or the code is no longer valid.

This coupon code is for single use only

This means the code doesn't exist.

For those paying in USD this is how you get the correct exchange rate in PayPal:

AliExpress trade in USD and setting overseas websites to AUD or letting PayPal do the currency conversion results may result in an inflated rate. To get the correct rate you need a card without international fees and do the following:

  • Set the website currency to USD
  • Checkout with PayPal
  • Select your card with no international fees
  • Click "See currency options"
  • Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD
  • Proceed with checkout

Now you'll get the correct MasterCard or VISA exchange rate.

expected to be even better than February

Thanks for the heads up :-)

These recurring coupons dont even cover Aliexpress mystical GST algorithms.

On many comparable products, Temu is where its at these days - no GST addition at checkout and constant 20-35% coupons FTW.

Or if you prefer to hold out for a bit more, regular 40-50% cashback offers from TCB/SB.

    • I've purchased a few times from AliExpress and never had issues with cashback tracking but Temu seems to be quite divided - have your orders from Temu all tracked? Genuine question because I haven't purchased from Temu before

      • i have had untracked on PC browser. now i only use iphone + updated SB/TCB apps and all track perfectly, including several hundred dollar purchases, for months now

    • +1

Temu and AliExpress do offer a different range when it comes to brands. A lot of the Chinese branded electronics won't be found on Temu. Definitely if you want cheap unbranded stuff, Temu will likely end up better with cashback. Also good for local deals. I've saved thousands with cashback already.

  • Do coupons work on pre-orders?

  • +5

HODL, wait the for anniversary sale at the end of March. Last year there were deeper discounts than on singles day. I suspect there will also be an ozb cashback team.

    • So anniversary sale will be much bigger discount as always?

      • Yes, definitely worth waiting for. I remember it was around 35% cashback for new customers with Shopback last year. And the sitewide discounts on the items themselves without any cashbacks were very good.

    • Feel free to reply to me here with suggestions.

      • -1

Because AliExpress read comments and will do price drops you silly negger.

      • Hi Clear, would it be possible for a deal on nothing ear (a) or nothing cmf buds 2 plus?

  • +1

Hopefully, an increased cashback from TCB in 2 days.

  • Hmm, I was looking at a pair of headphones on the Fiio store. This could come in handy.

  • Let's see if the shopping trolly price goes up between now and tomorrow night when this becomes effective! ha!
    AliChalmersflation…

    • Make sure your currency is in USD to see the real jump in price and not currency fluctuations

      • Good point… Though, in all honesty, paying in AUD, so meh… AUD it will be.

        • +1

Enjoy an extra 4% on top.

  • Can you use a code and still get cashback? I'm always worried that it won't work.

  • Great stuff, I just loaded a cart and saw the coupons flagged for 1 March. Will hold off purchasing for a chance at a 10-12% discount! Many thanks OP!

I'm a bit hesitant to use the ali app due to security and prefer the website. How safe is it?

      • -1

Installing a Chinese app which has hooks in from the govt

          • -2

@Clear: That's not actually correct. If you install the app, you end up giving it permissions. Running it in the browser, you've got the browser's sandbox protecting you.

And the aliexpress app demands a lot of permissions:

Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows an application to access any geographic locations persisted in the user's shared collection.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows applications to change network connectivity state.
Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.

@aub: Are we really doing this again. You’re already exposed and being sold for who gives a shit. You’re a nobody anyway your data isn’t important

        • +1

Deny permissions in the app to stuff you don't want it to grant access to. You'll soon find out what breaks doesn't break.

Contrary to what others try to say I'm wrong about. They will see your address and name regardless of what platform you order from.

  • Is there a trick to get coins to give real discounts? Like why do they even exist

    • +1

      AliExpress app > Coins

There's a super discount tile. Can also view based on history and the products shown are mostly based around search history.

      • I swear they specifically give less discount on items that I will actually buy. Also where it says -99% discount or whatever on some. It’s the same price without the coins anyways

        • It's not very good outside of sale periods and a lot of the -99% have already had max redemptions met.

      • Abused this during singles day as the Ozbargain team cashback was based on the price before coins discounts were applied from memory. Was pretty much recycling money at that point.

  • Any coupon for bundle deals?

  • OOS, oh well I guess I didn't really need it after all.

    • What is OOS?

      • Sorry, wrong thread.

        • +1

That's a relief. Codes going this quick would be crazy

  • ok so please correct me if im wrong;
vofafone blocks everything they haven't tested (basically everything outside of au releases). is it a TAC range ban or specific imei?
optus blocks individual imei of phone imports they haven't tested (they also don't test anything outside of aus models)
telstra doesn't block anything unless it specifically fails the 000 test

and the cherry on top is the legislation requires them to share the blocks "for safety" ?

last phone i paid for is the oppo find x3 pro for $800. it's giving me lines on the screen at an alarming rate about a new line every fortnight. now im faced with buying something local for $600 thats literally a sidegrade/downgrade in many ways OR spend $2000+ for a new local flagship, OR spend $800 on a flagship killer global variant that may get imei banned in 6 months….

    • +1

Can confirm my Vivo X100 Pro China rom model currently working fine on Telstra network.

      • does android auto work, and bank apps, nfc etc
i know its a bit of a process getting it set up with gapps and forcing android auto through spoofing but i havent really seen long term experience posts regarding it.
does it persist through OTA or do you need t set it up again?

        • Android Auto works fine after the update sometime last year. Google Play store worked out of the box from day one. I never needed to setup anything extra to it. Even though the X100 is 2 years old now, Vivo still releases updates to it the same time as their flagship X300 series, so good on them.

I can't see myself plopping down $1500+ on an S26 Ultra or the new X300 Ultra yet to upgrade as I haven't seen any meaningful upgrades apart from that cool built-in privacy screen and horizon lock stabilization on the S26 series.

Edit: I keep all my banking apps on my old Samsung. I don't trust it yet so I can't confirm if they work on the Vivo.

  • Redeemed the $4 off $29 AFFAU06 cheers

  • Any expiry dates?

  • +1

some items stayed the same but some jacked, so ended up more expensive compare to previous coupon period.

  • Don't know why i have to have over $40 USD worth of items in order to be able to use the +$29 coupon??

  • Do I get the AYN Thor now (before the price increase due to RAM prices) or wait until the AliExpress Anniversary sale…

Update: AYN Thor Prices are going up by US$10-US$40 next week and I doubt the anniversary sale will discount more than that. Ordered the Pro Model for US$353.89 (~A$500).

    • Yesterday I saw base model for ~A$439 after code, but today all base model sold out now … Should wait for anniversary sale when they restock too, might be even cheaper.

    • I got my hands on the 30 top selling products for March 1st and that one was near the top. Now I'm super tempted, especially since the Anbernic Vita has crappy specs to the surprise of no one.

      • I got my hands on the 30 top selling products on March 1st and that one was near the top

And quite a few orders were recently cancelled due to AliExpress automatic cancellation policy if a product isn't shipped in time (which isn't a surprise cause it's still a pre-order).

To prevent this, you just have to extend the shipping time from your order history.

        Now I'm super tempted

I think it went up from this morning and/or the special pricing was removed.

        • Is that because it was preorder?

          • @Clear: Yep, cause it's a preorder.

AYN are fulfilling orders in batches due to high demand.

They are at Batch 4 which will start shipping in April

      • Maybe @Clear hope you can work out some good Anbernic & Retroid deals for the upcoming anniversary sale please!

  • Got the gamesir g8 galileo for $71 AUD delivered . Good deal for anyone interested.

No matter what code I use it says the amount isn’t enough. I have $50 of choice items in my cart and the $23AUD code doesn’t work, is there a reason for that?

    • Similar issue with cart total (excl GST + free shipping) > $29USD.
Maybe some of the items are excluded from the use of discount codes.

  • When submitting the AUMR** codes: "For security reasons your request can't currently be processed."
    Excuse me?

    • Just went through the Aliexpress app instead and applied the code that way.

  • Weird glitch on the app right now. When you click on the Bundles section, it doesn't show you the cart for your Bundles items, instead it shows you your regular cart. So I can't checkout my Bundles items.

On the desktop PC, I can see the Bundles cart, but prices are different, more expensive than what I can see on the app.

  • @Clear

AliExpress Coins can be redeemed for larger discounts (up to 95%) on most products.
To use AliExpress Coin super discounts:

       Download the AliExpress app
Go to Coins on the home page or Account → Coins
Purchase products from this page to get the discount
You’ll see products with higher coin discounts based on your browsing patterns
Use the Discount Finder to locate bigger Coin discounts on items from your search history or cart

I just used the app after reading your tip and the Coins page to find my browsing history there.
However, most of the coins discount is not that higher from placing the order via the web.
Most of my stuff are small electronics or electrical items.

How do I get to the Discount Finder via the Coins screen on the app?

Thank you so much for the helpful tips on this deal page.

  • These codes are really starting to annoy me. I have $35 worth of choice items added and I can’t add the $3 coupon. It says I don’t meet the minimum.

In the UI it even says I have met the $23 and unlocked the coupon.

How is this possible? It’s so frustrating to know what qualifies

    • Your first mistake is setting your currency to AUD, as that fluctuates. Hence why the deal says approx A$35. Set your currency to USD and see what you get.

Not all products are eligible for coupons either. They won't have the red $x off $x banner underneath that when clicked on shows available coupon codes.

      • Also, almost all of the coupon codes are in a state of "Restocking", i.e. they have run out of the slots that were allocated.

  • Is this one use per account?

    • +1

One of each code per account, ie clear listed 18 codes above, so you could potentially make 18 purchases each using a code. However, there are limited redemptions so some codes may not be available, but sometimes they get restocked and can be used later
