Duracell Alkaline Batteries AAA or AA 40-Pack $15.99 @ Costco (Membership Required)

113

I know there's some negative reviews on these but, 40 batteries for 15.99 seemed really good compared to getting the amazon basics ones that don't last at all.

Duracell has worked for me and haven't had leaking issues, but I'm also on top of how long batteries are kept in devices.

Seems to be instore price only as it's more on the website.

I grabbed a pack of each!

Is Kirkland just a rebranded Duracell?

    • +8

Duracell should be rebranded as Leakcell.

I made the mistake of buying loads of duracell when they were on sale

So many have leaked. Some things are now ruined

Same here, I bought so many Duracells because i thought they were meant to be a good and reliable brand. Majority leaked so fast and some damaged the battery slots they were in.

Yup. Purchased both Duracell and kirkland batteries in the past. Most have Leaked. I dont recommend them to anyone.

    • I've heard about this, I believe Duracell are behind the Kirkland batteries but it's the "budget" line of theirs so Duracell has outrated them for high performance devices. This was something i remember from years ago though, it could have changed.

      • That's what I thought.
Also, Kirkland detergent is Tide, and paper towels are Bounty.

Duraleaks never again for me no matter how cheap, the AAAs anyway.

      And me.
      Too many ruined remote controls.

Huh? Kirkland is Tide and Duracell? Boggles the mind indeed. Tide and Duracell are top brands by their own right so Kirkland is in a win win position it seems.

DURACELL from Costco never again. They don’t even last a month in a smart door lock. As soon as you change the batteries and check the battery level in the app, the have 80% juice left.

  • Any one know what is up with IKEA’s rechargeable batteries?? They’re never available

I've been monitoring the stocks over the last month using below link and assuming it's accurate, Perth has ~1800 units and they've been getting restocks. Only SA has around ~250. Sometimes other stores get a handful (less than 10) but they get snapped up quickly. Have no idea what's going on.

  • Are kmart batteries any good?

  • +3

Duracell are the only batteries that I've had guaranteed leaks in

Up to 40 chances per pack to kill your devices.

  • Duraleak… No. Just no.
