Waiting for Hoka Bondi to go on 50% discount

    • Does it go down by 50% at all?

    • Bit the bullet at 30% off, never saw more off . Very nice shoe , plush and great for general wear and runs . You might see 50% on runout only when bondi 10s come out .

I love these shoes (Hoka), but man they wear out fast.

mach 6 lasted me 600km and it still looks as new

Similar report. My mach6s have 500k on them and still have alot of tread. I have older Cliftons with more Ks and they were super plush to wear but the tread is well gone, and I suspect the bounce has tapered out. Perhaps the mach6s with its' aggressive rake is less abusive at the pace I run at ?

        • Clifton 8 lasted well beyond 400km… actually still good to this day, I just upgraded.

      • They may look new but definitely don't feel it

        • I got 750km out of my previous Mach 6. Current pair at 450km and still got plenty of life.

    • certainly on the trail scene they have a reputation for not lasting very long

    • Fakes are just as good

    • Agree, mine barely lasts a year and both heels and soles are worn down.

    • My experience is mine keep lasting and lasting, and I had physios tell me I was an S-tier shoe breaker.

Have bought so many Hokas over the past 5-6 years (most of them still have tags on) for gardening, years in an aluminium smelter (didn't go to production areas but they take a beating walking through that environment).

The OG pair from pre-pandemic is still in good knick.

      I do use superfeet insoles.

My friend is 90-95kg and he/we found his Hokas wear far less than the main competitors too (ON, Nike)

  • Wow thanks OP great sales.

Wave Rider seems to be good.
Shame I've still got at least 300km to go on my Boston's.
Tempted to stock up for rotation.

Are the Mach 6 recommended for long runs or fast runs?

    • Mach 6 is more of a speed shoe but I've also ran a half marathon in them.

Love my mach 6 overall and I would definitely buy an another pair

The NB Fuelcell Rebel V5 are great shoes for tempo

  • Hoka Hoka Bento

    • Wish they have it here

Wow the NB mens no 2e sale :(

  • Thanks OP. Just bagged myself a pair of Supercomps. First ever carbon plated shoes.

  • Any good support shoes on sale?

    • ASICS GT-2000 are good support shoes. 14 came out Q3 last year and last black Friday it was only 30% off, so $150 is a very good price.
