  • Wait for EOFY might be 50% off if you don't need it now. Or black friday for sure 50% off Pirelli.

    • Do we usually get EOFY 50% discount?

  • Needed a new tyre the other week for an MG3.

Kmart was 155 (!!!) which was way more than I was willing to pay. Bob Jane, a store that isn't still trying to make you forget they were Kmart 5 years ago, was 107.

    155x.8=124

So even at 20% off, Kmart' cheapest own brand tyre, is nearly 20 bucks more than the dedicated tyre store. Absolutely bonkers. Thought they were meant to be cheaper lol.

    Edit: deal says

    ^Excludes Continental Tyres

    and the tyre says

    Powered by Continental

Don't even know if it would get the 20% off lmao, even worse

Just a reminder to rotate your tyres to wear them all out evenly and then replace them all for biggest saving $

Also only do it if its free or diy. Paying $100 each time at the mechanics is a scam

  • Excludes Continental…
    Continental never on sale

  • Checked the MyCar web site sunday to see what the price was before the 20% off deal. $149 each for Kumho HS52s, which the web site says is the only tyre MyCar has in the size I need.

Tried to check it again today to see what the price is after the 20% deal applies. But the web site seems to have been broken by the deal.

But Google says its $119 at My car because of the sale. And that its only $125 at Bob Jane anyway.

And another MyCar web site google can find says it is reduced from $139 to $111 because of the sale. At the same store. But its a different model Kumho. The ES31.

And people complain about Woolworths and Coles pricing!

  • Avoid Kumho. They are not bringing high end tyres into Australia anymore and only offer these cheap HS52s that don't have the same speed rating.

  • Anyone used thier cheapest ROVELO tyres ?
