Recommended to go on a size up?

    • +1

      Thanks for your question 👍

The sizing guide was previously linked to the wrong URL; now been corrected and provides clearer information.

We highly recommend going one size up from your normal casual jeans due to the reinforced Kevlar lining and structured riding fit. Best practice is to measure your actual waist with a tape rather than rely on old jeans, as denim can stretch over time.

Happy to help further if needed.

Just out of interest, if it's known that most people need to size up to get a good fit, why don't manufacturers just adjust the sizing accordingly?

        • This was actually something we have been already working on. In the latest production run we’ve adjusted the cut (after gathering feedbacks) to better align with standard sizing while still accommodating the Kevlar lining and armour padding in the knees and hips.

It’s a bit of a balance to maintain normal denim sizing while allowing room for protective inserts, but the newer batches should fit closer to what riders expect.

  • Discount code not seems to work

    • Thanks for pointing that out 👍

The discount link has been updated and should be working correctly now.

Full Kevlar lining (seat & knee impact zones)

It is misleading to claim "Full Kevlar lining" if it is only on the seat and knee impact zones. You should state "Kevlar lining in seat & knee impact zones".

Also the webpage talks about Kevlar coverage for thighs, so is it seat, knee & thighs?

    • Thanks for raising that 👍

To clarify, the jeans feature Kevlar abrasion lining in the primary impact and slide zones; rear seat area and the knees.

The hips and knees are fitted with removable CE armour pads for impact protection.

They are not fully lined throughout the entire leg, as Kevlar is strategically positioned in high-risk abrasion areas rather than low-impact zones. This helps maintain better flexibility, comfort, and breathability while still protecting the areas most exposed during a slide.

We’ll review the wording to ensure it clearly reflects the protection coverage.

      Appreciate you pointing it out.

      • Yeah no point putting kevlar between the crotch for example.

          Maybe not for you 😉

@Andoes: Damn saturday night ozbargain burn hurts

  • I guess they probably won’t, but in the off chance, are these CE rated for abrasion/tear strength?

    • Thanks for the question 👍

The denim garment itself is not CE certified under EN 17092. Standard denim alone is not designed as a dedicated protective material, which is why reinforced riding jeans incorporate aramid/Kevlar panels in high-abrasion zones.

These jeans use genuine DuPont™ Kevlar® aramid fibre, sourced from DuPont™, the original manufacturer of Kevlar®. The material used carries the same inherent fibre characteristics that Kevlar® is known for; including high tensile strength and abrasion resistance.

The included hip and knee armour are CE certified (Level 1 as standard in this sale). Higher level armour options are available on request.

Appreciate you raising it; happy to clarify further if needed.

  • Can these (and your other products) be tried on / purchased at your Beresfield address?

    • +3

Our Beresfield address is a warehouse and not a retail shopfront, so we don’t offer in-store try-ons there.

However, for Newcastle customers, we can arrange a local try-on service. Our local delivery driver can bring multiple sizes/colours at your doorstep so you can try them on comfortably. We also offer same-day delivery within Newcastle where possible.

Please reach out through our website to arrange this and we’ll organise it for you.

      Thanks again!

      • Sounds good if they fit can buy directly and avoid any shipping built into cost? I am just in thornton so round the corner.

        • Sure mate 👍
Feel free to reach out through the website or the contact details listed there and we can help arrange it. Happy to assist.

    • Ranger Drivers…

      You one of them mate?

      • -3

Hell no, but am a 4 wheel driver. Far superior to 2 wheels in almost every way.

        • Boo! Hiss!

        • No negs from me.
Actually, any fool can drive 4 wheels.
It takes real skill to control a motorcycle.
Not calling you one, just saying that a bike takes a lot more. People make the mistake of wearing their car hats when riding bikes, resulting in all sorts of bad things.

Drive safe, look out for motorcycles and bicycles.

  • Any official safety abrasion rating on these, I'm guessing not… A / AA / AAA ?
And the CE-certified knee and hip armour mentioned I assume because there is no further detail that it's only level 1 not level 2 ?

    • Would like to know this as well please rep. How much of slide time do these provide?

    • Thanks for the questions 👍

The denim itself is not EN 17092 garment-rated (A / AA / AAA), so there is no official garment abrasion classification.

They are reinforced with genuine DuPont™ Kevlar® aramid fibre, sourced from DuPont™, the original manufacturer of Kevlar®. Kevlar® as you know, a high-strength para-aramid material; recognised for its tensile strength, heat resistance, and abrasion-resistant characteristics; is positioned in the primary slide zones (seat and knees) to strengthen high-impact areas compared to standard denim alone.

The included hip and knee armour are CE certified (Level 1 as standard in this sale). Level 2 + options are available on request. This listing includes Level 1 armour as standard to avoid confusion regarding optional upgrades.

      Happy to clarify further.

  • I'm a bit confused… Is this gear made in Australia or the UK?
Product photos make reference to motrox.co.uk?

    • Your confusion is completely understandable 👍

Motrox has been operating in the UK for over 15 years and has recently expanded into Australia. We are currently transitioning inventory and operations locally.

Most core products; including these jeans; are now fulfilled within Australia. Some specialised or higher-ticket items may still be dispatched from the UK during this transition phase.

As a result, some older product listings or photos may still reference the UK website. We’re progressively updating all assets to reflect our Australian operations.

      Thank you!
