  • The 45W one is better value, but both are gone at Brighton Melbourne store.

The 45W one has no cable included. This is better value for charging smaller devices like phones and tablets.

And also appears to be GaN. Really good for throwing in a bag for emergencies.

45w is a weird number nowadays. Almost no laptops will be ok with it, and only old-school underdeveloped phones. To support everything consider 65w>
Yes, its cheap, but you will throw it away if you have more powerful one.

I have a S25U connected to a 67W GaN charger (with PPS) + 100W cable, and have never seen it pull more than 27W once the battery hits 10-15% (measured by the cable's built-in wattmeter).

      • Thats what I call old-school underdeveloped phones :) Charging like that in 2026 for the price of that phone is a humiliation.

    • Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max supports 40W.

But I agree. 67W chargers can be as low as $17.50. It's probably not worth getting the 45W one.

Considering the most popular phone in Australia is iPhone, which tend to support up to 40W in the newest models, this will be perfectly fine for the majority of people

  • Is it just me or I cant seem to search any product in the catalogue linked on the Coles App?

  • is it instore only

  • Found this at coles fairfield west in battery section

  • Thanks OP ….got one today at Coles and plenty of stock. It's also good that it's half the size of the two I have (KMart Anko's I think) and more suitable for overseas packing purposes…..plus 45w.is good.

  • Our Coles is getting dodgy.

Just one of these in black in the promotional display tray, but it was opened with the cable snaking out.
Pick up box, it's light and sure enough…missing.

Turn around, other chargers near batteries. There's a blue one placed on a peg for some other product.

Result: One baby blue in the bag šŸ˜Ž
