Perfect timing! I needed some more anti histamines.

Thanks Jason keep up the great work!

  • A reminder not to have a deal expiry date that is beyond the latest expiry date of your medicine. It is illegal to sell substandard (which includes expired) medicines. Pharmacies must remove expired stock immediately; selling it is a breach of TGA and state pharmacy regulations. Online sellers (including marketplaces) cannot legally list or ship expired medicines.

Deal expiry date adjusted from 30 June 2026 to 1 May 2026.

Thank you for your detailed explanation, clients can rest assured I do not ship expired medicines, rather I substitute brands or exp dates if a specified product is expired and still part of a deal, I appreciate your modification vs simply removing the post or penalising me.

Ozbargain policy of default 30 day expiry (unless a date is specified) sometimes marks many of my deals as expired, when they are reported as non expired - reps often ask me to repost the deal rather than re-activating the deal. Ozbargain policy only allows me to post 2 deals per week and I have huge back log of requests, so sometimes re-activating old deals due to request of 1 or 2 clients can chew into my ability to post new highly requested deals which serve many. Long explanation as to why I sometimes need longer expiry dates on deals.

      • Ozbargain policy of default 30 day expiry (unless a date is specified)

The default expiry is 45 days from the date of post submission when no expiry date was specified. This had been communicated to you in November 2025.

I have huge back log of requests

Listing multiple bargains in the same deal post is a way to handle request backlogs.

        • Not looking for an argument, but I don't read back through hundreds of replies to previous comments I have made over hundreds of deals, apologies but I genuinely didn't read it and am sorry you had to repeat yourself. You have called me out as incorrect (as I thought deals expire in 30 days - when in reality you again confirm this is 45 days, my explanation (whether right or wrong) is still the same regarding deals expiring while stock is still available - if the deal is still active and an item is purchased I wont ship expired medication and I want the Ozb community to be assured of this. Notwithstanding this explanation I will be sure not to post expiry dates which exceed the date of expiry of the bonus items.

I do try to list multiple bargains in the same deal post and also try to remind Ozbargainers of all of the previous deals still running to save literally hundreds of requests for deals which are still active and listed on the site - and will continue to do this per your request. Alvian - I am not trying to be smug, but given the tone of your messages to me over months and years I do feel I have upset you somehow, if this is the case please PM me any grievances as I can assure you they are unintentional and I will genuinely try my best to rectify any historical issues if they exist. As a Ozbargain consumer and Rep poster the last thing I want to do is get the ire of Reps or the Ozb community.

I've ordered hundreds of dollars worth of allergy meds from you guys, and I will say the expiration dates always seem like a gamble for the 'old but active' deals

I wish there was a better system (even something built-in to ozbargain) to keep deal posts updated with product expiry dates. Like you can add the product to the deal with product expiry date, and have the deal expiry date automatically update when you update the product's expiry date attached to it or something

  • Cheers mate! Bought a care pack…
