This previously popular dash cam is back on sale for an all time low and considerably cheaper than Amazon's $339.99 price tag for the front & rear bundle. It's AU stock for quick delivery and stacks with 13% cashback at TopCashback for further savings.

Edit: Use this link to get a slightly cheaper price thanks to harukane

A comparison table of the Z60 and Z60 Pro can be found here with the main improvements being Sony STARVIS 2 sensors for better low light sensitivity and wider dynamic range, improved night vision quality, dual HDR in front and rear and 3K@60fps mode for the front camera. Like the Z60 this uses a super capacitor making it safe for summer and supports 3 channels so you can add the MINI2X QHD camera. There's 32GB internal eMMC storage and supports microSD for extended storage.

There are multiple bundles included on the page and this image shows you what's included in each. If you're ordering the more expensive bundles be sure to apply the appropriate coupons.

I literally just ordered this at midnight (just front/rear) for $145AUD and now it shows shipped :(((

    • +2

Cancel the order requesting a refund, one of the options is that you've found it cheaper.

      • I did this and now it is a headache to return. Customer Service can't confirm I will get a full refund + I have to ship it back at my own cost (despite 'free returns within 90 days'. Checking with them again to confirm I will be reimbursed

        • What's the best saving you'll get if it all goes your way ?

  • +1

Curious, is this better compared to VIOFO A129 Plus?

  • +8

I ordered the Z60 Pro cameras and set it up in my car recently. Image quality and smoothness wise, seems to be better than my 70mai A800 (microphone and battery died) and my Redtiger F17 (heatwave seemed to have shattered the lens and camera).

4k30 and 3k60 are the options for the resolution and framerate. Keep in mind that the 3k resolution for 3k60 is achieved via sensor crop for 1:1 pixel mapping, so your FOV goes from 138 degrees at 4k30 to 120-125 degrees at 3k60. It's up to you whether or not the loss of FOV is more than offset by the improved framerate.

I went with 4k just to capture that little bit more in case of a side on collision. the lens handles reflections much better than my Redtiger and 70mai did, and the image quality is clearer and sharper for licence plates compared to my Redtiger. It does seem to drain less power than my Redtiger as well. I don't drive much at night so I am yet to test the quality of the night footage, but i'd expect it to be better than my previous cameras as well.

I ended up getting two of these so i could have full 4k30 for the front and rear of my car at a discount compared to the dual 4k dash cam price and i prefer dual memory cards for lifespan. Although that being said, its nice that these have the EMMC fallback in case the memory cards fail.

For those that want the easy way to hardwire the cameras, there is an OBD power adapter option. I've been meaning to try it, but still using my current 100w fast charging a passthrough powerbank method for parking recording.

    • Thanks for the feedback.

Did you have any issues using the OBD/Hardwire kit? Got the HW kit today and just awaiting for the dashcam itself.

      • Haven't used the OBD kit but it's a lot easier for the layman than the hardwire kit since I could just plug it into the port under my dash rather than route cables to the fuse box under my hood.

That being said, if your fuse box is in your cabin then it's easier, but OBD is the simplest for plug and play.

I don't drive much at night so I am yet to test the quality of the night footage, but i'd expect it to be better than my previous cameras as well.

as mentioned in post Z60 Pro has Starvis 2 (Sony) sensor so it will be the best you can get for night time video.

this is one of the first things I learned about dashcams. you want Starvis sensor for good night time video, and Starvis 2 is even better. 😀

Not me buying 2 channel + hardwire for $214 last week

  • Ain't no party like a …

    Thx OP, ordered one

  • +8

    Just purchased one!

I ain't sure what the difference is, but the link below has further 4.54 USD cheaper than the link provided from OP.

    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005009522122755.html?spm=a2…

Yes, I tested TopCashback link checker and it is affiliated
Yes, I checked if the seller is legitimate and it is also sold by "DDPAI Overseas Store" (you can check it after adding it to the cart)
Yes, it is sent locally with the same delivery time frame (since it is the same seller I guess?)

Please correct me if I am wrong :/

    • Nice one. It's from the same store - sometimes these limited price listings come online with a tad cheaper price.

      • glad it helped XD

    • Thanks mate

      • Pleasure!

    • Thanks, bought the front cam

    • Thanks mate, pulled the trigger using your link and got the 2ch + hardwire kit no memory card for 146+13%tcb. It arrived yesterday and realised they've given me a memory card too, score!

  • +1

ive had one for a year, works well i guess.

    • +1

Requires running cable through the roof? TIA

      • +1

Running the cable was the easy part.

    Any Z90 Pro/Master?

  • +3

Great Dashcam. Used BlackVue previously in other vehicles. Quality recording. App connectivity okay.

Highly recommend the DDPAI OBD hardwire kit over the traditional hardwire kit.
Infinitely easier to install and more reliable (IMO).

    https://amzn.asia/d/01X0iBQh

    $40 on Amazon
Around $35 after cashback via AE.

    • Any advice on installing? Couldn't figure out the hardware kit for the life of me

      • +4

I think that's the point of using the ODB kit - essentially plug and play without having to deal with identifying which fuses to connect to. I've just bought the 2 channel with the OBD kit.

        • Does using OBD kit allows standby mode monitoring and low battery cut off?

      • I ditched the hardwire kit and got the OBD wiring kit.

    • Great idea thank you.

    • +2

OBD kit also available from Supercheap for $39.99 https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/ddpai-ddpai-z60-obd-hard…
Which worked out better for me 'cause I had store credit.

    • +1

Do you have the link via AE?

      • keen to know as well, never installed a cam like this before

  • How's the app on these? Easy to estract footage without having to faf with sd/memory cards?

    • Pretty easy. Connect over wifi, view album, download the footage you need. It usually starts downloading in the background while you're viewing footage.

  • Thanks OP, Ordered 2 :)

Still going stromg with the $48 Xiomai 70mai pro from 2019, worth an upgrade or backup at all?

    • Pretty sure I have the same one, if you ever watched the output from your 70mai it's pretty shit, you can't make out numberplates and at night it's fairly useless (check your recordings now to see if you agree)

Watch some review videos of this one the video is pretty crisp even at night, it also has a back camera for rear ends.

I'm upgrading but if you don't need numberplates or rear recording there is no need.

  • On the 2 Channel with code AUMR23
"Unable to apply promo code. The total after discount (excl. shipping) doesn't meet the minimum purchase amount."

    • Try your currency in USD.

      • It starts out USD way, but when I remove a lesser coupon in the checkout that it's automatically adding it switches to AUD

      • Ended up using my phone to get it to add the coupon, closed that then started afresh on the PC and the $13 finally worked and it stayed in USD. Weird.

  • if drive ute, don't need rear one right?

    • +1

Why wouldn't you? Can nobody crash into the back of your ute?

      • It's in case a joke crashes into the rear of you, you can replay and study it for next time.

  • +1

This product can't be shipped to your address.
I don't know why? Any help

    • +1

      Same

    • +1

      same

    • +1

hey, I am able to order now. You should try too

  • I was able to get the 2 ch with hardwire for $99.71 usd which converted to 141.86 aud
I had to delete the AliExpress app and just use the browser in TopCashback

  • +2

end up brought z90 pro master, with 4k rear for 334$ after cashback :)

  • Added the OBD kit this morning. $37.21 - $4.84 pending
    Thanks all

  • Anyone have any experience with dashcams that have LTE? Wanting to setup similar to tesla's sentry mode in my car

  • Thanks OP. Bought the Z60 Pro and tracked with Topcashback within 15 min. Sending the same item back to Temu as it didnt tracked with Shopback (50% cashback back in Jan) despite lodging a manual track and then rejected. Weird that Shopback able to track the 1st transaction for $40 value but couldnt track the 2nd transaction for this dashcam by exiting and reactivate the cashback.

  • Code doesn't seem to work on my end. Tried two browsers.
For security reasons your request can't currently be processed

    • +1

Try harukane's link in the comments above. That seems to work.

    • I had to add the code on my phone to get it to work. When it applied I closed that and the code auto populated when I restarted the process on the PC.

  • my car has a usb port at the rearview mirror - can this just be plugged there to function?
Then I’ll sort out the rearview via wiring??l

    • Rear camera needs to connect physically to the front for power and data.

Unless you buy two front cameras like me and hook up one in the rear to the rear USB port.

  • +1

Thanks OP purchased two front & rear combo (and the OBD kit separately) as I was browsing these for the last few weeks perfect timing!

  • All, have no idea how to install any of this. Will a 2 channel front and rear pack be enough for a kluger 2023 base model. I believe all it needs is a normal usb adaptor. Right ?

    • +2

It comes with the USB adapter and prying tools, pretty easy to install. There's YouTube vids if you need tips.

  • Thanks op ordered. Too cash back tracked within hour. Costs me around 126 after cash back for dual channel.

  • Thanks, got the front+rear and the OBD kit for 171 (150 after cashback)!

  • Oh man, the OBD cable made the install a breeze. It also includes the fuse powered cable too if anyone's on the fence about which to get.

  • Did the price before the code went up?

I'm seeing US $153.83 for the front+back option

Looks like the OPD set is sold out

  • never works trying to but from aliexpress.

  • To summarise, this needs to be bought:

    1. Buy 2 Channel (Front and rear, no hardwire) from here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005009522122755.html
    2. Buy OBD from here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005009016063682.html

    Is that right ?

    Cheers

    • +1

Yes but for 2. the OBD Hardwire Kit option is sold out

      • It is available, ordered 1 this morning.

      • The link i pasted above still shows stock fir OBD. Am i at right place?

    • Obd is on Amazon for the same price

  • How would this compare to VIOFO A119 MINI2

  • Hi thanks for this deal but I am unable to buy it from Ali express. They want me to verify with an ID. Any other websites that I can purchase this from?

    • That's unusual. Who is asking? AliExpress? Did you use a credit card instead of PayPal?

      • I tried using PayPal and credit card but was asked to verify my account, and to verify you need to provide some form of ID. I checked my bank account and no payment went through.

  • The design doesn't allow fitment of a CPL filter, not that there's an option, but it they want to offer such accessories in the future it will be difficult to retrofit.

While a polariser takes out reflection during the day, it's bad for night time due to reduced light, not ideal if you do a lot of driving after late afternoon/evening hours.

  • Incredibly quick delivery - installed yesterday and all looks good.

  • Tried over the last week - but won’t ship to my address - Brisbane ?

  • Sticking the unit to the windscreen has proven a pain. Have used both electrostatic stickers and 3M mount adhesives but always fallen off; this unit is pretty dam heavy! Might look at a aftermarket suction cup or something…

    • Oh no not good.
