    Back to stock

  • Thanks OP.

  • Thanks legendary OP

  • Just got some, cheers

  • This works out to about $0.41 per roll. Kleenex Complete Clean Toilet Paper 60 Count is not much more ($0.49 standard and $0.44 with S&S), which I think is worth the extra few cents.

The Sorbent toilet paper I recently bought from Woolworths/Coles wasn't made in Australia and I think the quality of the paper has gone significantly downhill.

    • +1

The last lot I bought from Amazon were made in Indonesia

I'm not sure about the quality but they seem to have been shrinkflated. They have increased the size of the cardboard roll inside to make it look bigger, but these are tiny. They are still 180 sheets per roll, but the sheets are smaller than the Quilton ones. I usually buy the Quilton double rolls when they are on sale but I bought the Sorbent last time around and wasn't overly impressed.

      • The ones I got from the supermarket were made in China.

  • Stock availability is fluctuating. I couldn't get any earlier, but just placed an order now.

Try using a power washer. I found those effective

Use your Wolfbox to blow-dry your arse after.

The packaging says "Est. Australia since 1952*", made in Australia, and has an image of both Australia and a cockatoo on the front.

Pretty dodgy if this is made in Indonesia. For the ornithologists in the house, yes, Indonesia also has sulfur crested cockatoos.

Anyone know what the * after 1952 relates to?

To add to the overanalysis inspired by OP's laissez faire approach, this has a PEFC endorsement vs the FSC endorsement of the Kleenex in a comment above.

PEFC is generally considered the inferior of the two forestry certifications, in some cases, such as this example in Indonesia, woefully so.

Very interesting. That's enough to make me not buy it. I'd rather not be wiping my arse on dead orangutans.

      • Do you think they're also in West Papua/Papua New Guinea?

  • +1

YEAH, I hesitated too, it's showing on the website, under see more product details.
    Customers usually keep this item

This product has fewer returns than average compared to similar products.

    • I think that's cause most people cant be bothered returning toilet paper after opening it and realising it's not what they expected.

  • Same price on Amazon Business and additional 20% off if you have the promo.

    • Would you want to waste your 20% promo on a cheap item? You only have one to use.

      • Of course not, it took me > an hour to put together $375 of things I genuinely needed to buy (> $400 gross with S&S and Prime Savings). The TP got it over the line.

I keep a running list of things I need to buy but still needed to check if they were at lows or near lows, Aus ingredients, etc.

I had a $10 off $39 coupon which stacked with the -10% subscribe & save. Additionally I had a limited use $25 promo credit, got 96 rolls for $0.29 from 3x stacked promos.

  • Shitty deal, upvoted

Seem "Sub & Save" option is not available anymore?

  • +2

    S&S option is gone

  • Ordered yesterday (no S&S). Said 1-3 weeks dispatch but arrived today.
