CASIO10

Bought a watch that I could only find on the official website and received a 10% off coupon code that seems to be generic. A little pricier than some other stockists but some only seem to be available through the official retail store. Hopefully will save someone some money!

Seems to be free express shipping as well. Got mine in 2 days delivered to metro Melbourne.

What did you buy? I had a quick look & prices seem heavily jacked compared to Amazon AU,

      Any bargains Op?

      • What about w221h-1a for $97 delivered?

        • I can't see it on Amazon but it's a plastic lens watch that's only 50m. As a comparison you can buy a G-Shock for around that price or Casio plastic lens 100m ones around $60 when there's an Amazon sale.

          • @WatchNerd: It was more the uniqueness and the simplicity of it. There is a lot of love for this model on Reddit.

  • could only find on the official website

    Which one bro

Either the ones I have bought from Amazon are all Casio fakes, or almost everything on the official retailer page is more expensive than Amazon (at a glance)

    E.g. MQ24-7B $60 vs $35

    F91W-1 $60 vs $38

$38 is too much for the f91w as much as it has a soft spot in my heart

Probably just import product rather than fakes, and casio choosing to rip off Aussies, good ol Aus tax

also a fyi for any newbies. even the metal looking ones are made of plastic. the only metal part is the actual band. friend found out the hard way.. 😌

    • Yeah the specs for each model are mentioned on the Casio website. Just need to do a couple of minutes research before buying.

  • I don't think I've ever bought anything from the Casio site and the prices are never great.

I recently re-bought the G-Shock DW-9052 (Watchnerds favourite) as I sold mine to a mate wanting a watch.

The best price ever was $66 from Amazon but all the good sales have dried up these days but for anyone wanting one I got it for $80 from Anaconda. They got $20 off $100 promo GET20 (it is $99 so had to add the cheapest thing to the cart).

Also got this classic from watch depot for $123 and shipped straight away (got it in two days to my surprise):

Both are reasonable size for G-Shocks and wear pretty well. I swap the bands on my dw-5900 and dw-6900 to a 5600 strap and they wear great for smaller wrists, tip from the top (the stock straps flair out unnecessary).

  • This new model looks alright ($89.96 with 10% off). Blood pressure monitor looking thing but good layout. MWC did a video recently. A bit meh but big display and long battery, still a few niggles so will pass.
