The Vodafone network has expanded by sharing Optus' regional towers
Has? how many are up and running?
"TPG Telecom will gain access to 2,444 Optus mobile network sites in regional Australia, increasing its current national 4G coverage from around 400,000 square kilometres to around 1,000,000 square kilometres and 98.4 per cent of the population."

Terrible network, no MMS support. Stay away!!! Speeds are dials up!!
Showing your age, talking about dial up haha.
Lyca support team mentioned this:
Please be informed that MMS is not included in any of our plans. However, you can still send MMS using the credit balance on your Lyca Mobile number. Each MMS will be charged at $0.62.
To check your credit balance, Text BAL to 3535
To check plan or bundle allowances, Text BUN to 3535
More info here: https://www.lycamobile.com.au/en/rates/national/
Thanks. But how about receiving? Do they charge the same as sending?
Receiving MMS is free; only sending MMS will cost.
You can also contact support through the website chat or Facebook, they’ve been quite responsive for me.

Getting there, 1T per year
Is anyone able to order a SIM and pay by card on Lyca’s website? I keep getting errors.
Sounds normal for Lyca.
The card for payment must support 3D Secure Authentication now.
Wallet didn't work but card worked fine.

Vodafone is also very trigger happy with banning phones that are not official in Australia but should still work with 000. Like OnePlus 15. So I will be avoiding them for now.
They also are the only carrier without a public IMEI testing website.
Used them a decade ago, I remeber it always shows R in the signal, still the case?
It's X now :)
TBH It was a bit sceptical to port-in to Lyca as I've read many bad comments on different platforms, but my Lebara plan was about to expire, and the current medium and large plan for long term is the best deal I could find in terms of data, international calls and coverage (Vodafone same as Lebara, general good service for me). So before I ported in, I tried chatting with support, asked a few questions, checked how long it takes for a human agent to reply, and to my surprise, it was quite quick; therefore, I decided to port-in and the process was smooth, I bought the plan with Esim, all set up and details came straightaway I scanned the QR code, followed the process to verify my identity and activate line after that new line worked ( took advantage I signed up for few freebies like GYG and JB-HiFi), then day after I just filled the port-in form, few hours later my number was ported-in (only one thing here, they mentioned you will get a SMS once is done but never received it).. other than that, I'm happy with the plan so far mostly connected to 5G and international call are good.

The previous deal never tracked with TopCashback. Disabled auto-renew and triple checked. Still got charged $30 for auto-renewal. They also provided falsified documents to Amex, so a chargeback won't even work. They are experts at scamming people. DO NOT TOUCH LYCA!!! DO NOT TOUCH LYCA!!! DO NOT TOUCH LYCA!!! Won’t touch Lyca ever again!!
Great deal, but the dirty word is "Vodafone", reception are awful further away from the city.
