      Moon Reader Pro has had text-to-speech for years, I've used it with both the Google TTS voices and the Samsung voices.

    epub files were all greyed out when I tried to upload them to the app. Anyone else with the same issue?

      It was greyed out for me too when I selected:
      documents > import file.
      However it works if you go:
      library > add icon (top right)

    Been listening to audiobooks for 25 years and made Sydney traffic bearable. Will try this app of course and see if it can be as good/better than human narratorrs.I follow certain humans like Jefferson Mays, Jeff Harding etc and listen to them regardless of genre.

    I'm trying it out. The realistic voices are quite good - they seem natural. You can turn off the background music fortunately. It's just adds cognitive overhead to your comprehension of the text. There is an issue where the voice pauses briefly at some line ends and this is distracting. Don't know if it's a text formatting issue or a bug but either way the app should be smart enough to not do this.

    I didn’t realise you needed to click the crown and choose the free plan. I’ve uninstalled now, but is this all I need to do to avoid being charged?
