Free Coffee For Women on 8 March @ Various Venues Across Australia (Blitz Bar, Shuk etc.)

110

Saw this on TikTok from a very generous bloke named Kyle Hunt where for International Womens day on Sunday 8th March, he has put a tab (unspecified amount) down on cafes in each major city for women to get themselves a free coffee/matcha.

I am not sure if this should be posted but regardless, I think his philanthropic acts should be praised and shared.

The locations are:

Blitz Bar (Melbourne): 7/50 Church St, Brighton VIC 3186.

Shuk Bondi (Sydney): 40 Mitchell St, North Bondi NSW 2026.

Commune Cafe (Gold Coast): 1844 Gold Coast Hwy, Burleigh Heads QLD 4220.

Pablo’s Pantry Café (Brisbane): 14 Trafalgar St, Woolloongabba QLD 4102.

East Row Cafe (Canberra): Cnr London Cct & East Row, Canberra ACT 2601 (Sydney Building, Ground Floor).

Thirty Five Stirling (Adelaide): 35 Stirling St, Thebarton SA 5031.

Forklore Cafe (Perth): Shop 11–12, City West Centre, 102 Railway St, West Perth WA 6005.

Born in Brunswick (Hobart): 410 Elizabeth St, North Hobart TAS 7000.

If he offers free coffee to men on international men's day, then it's fair

      • Yeah for sure, that sounds completely fair. Is that a thing?

        • Yes, it's a thing. 19th November. But really, everyday is men's day.

          • @suzta: "But really, everyday is men's day."
Yeah the suicide rates really tell a different story champ.

nope not a thing no one cares about mens day. lol at 5 women neged me. typical

          • +1

@kungfuman: We negged coz every int'l women's day there are men who complain that the focus isn't on them for one day.

They also complain about there not being a int'l men's day when there is. I suppose they expect women to organise & promote that one too!

            • @suzta: It's a bit hard to get people excited about joining in on a day dedicated to PornHub, Kleenex and hand lotion…

Do you get upset when other people celebrate their birthdays and don't celebrate yours?

Just wait till you see job ads saying WOMEN ONLY. But it's OK because Western women are so oppressed these days.

      • Negs will neg but have nothing to say otherwise.

this bearded lady is going to Brighton on Sunday

  • For those in Brisbane Pablo's is a beautiful breakfast/brunch spot run by the sweetest old greek couple. Definitely get there

  • Would have been better to make a donation to a women's and children's hospital, breast cancer or some other charitable cause. Yes I know, men can get breast cancer, and not all children will become women.

I take offense to this. Women are perfectly capable of buying their own coffee. They dont need a man to shout them one! One step forward, two steps back.

    • SkyNews said the same thing this morning, dic you see it too?

        dic you see it too?

        Freudian slip?

  • Bloody Kyle, making the rest of us look bad!

  • discrimination to men seems to be OK.

If this was free coffee for me, the women would be up in arms…

Does it count if i identify as one?
