It is a fridge freezer !
Tbh I'm impressed that it can do 10 degrees, my fridge at home will only go up to 7 degrees.
Indeed!

Father in law had a Kings one on a recent trip, worked perfect for the task.
Kings Escape 30 Fridge/Freezer | 12V & 24V @ $269.00set the temperature anywhere from +20°C all the way down to -20°C
Looks like it can go up to 20 degrees if alternative uses require so

How are people going these working when the car is off? Add on batteries?

I used a Bluetti / Ecoflow Small 300wh battery to supplement and charge it with my car.
The fridge normally draws 40-50w per hour but YMMV.
If you have any power tool batteries you can buy an adapter that converts your 18v battery to 12 volts and it also comes with the cigarette lighter adapter so you can just plug in the existing cable. like this - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007755734612.html
Just search for the right adapter to suit your battery brand. I use a 12Ah Milwaukee on my Brass Monkey fridge that has its own battery already, but this extends its run time by many hours.
I have a Kings 36Ah battery that runs this for just about a couple days I think, depending on your environment.
Or when in the car via the cigarette lighter port.
Also FYI to all, one annoyance (with my car, not the fridge) that it can't fit into my sedan boot in a way where I can still open it.

I wish they'd do a decent deal on a couple of their drawer fridges !

Damn didn't realise this was a thing. This seems a whole lot more convenient to have in the boot.

Kings do, pretty much the same fridge, probably comes out of the same factory. $248.95 for this bundle: https://www.4wdsupacentre.com.au/fridge-freezers/drawer-frid…

Can you please tell me the advantage of a drawer compared to this esky type fridge?

I have one of these, used several times over the last 4 months, runs pretty well. Mine came with the 240v adapter, (for $249) which I've found useful night before a camping trip to get down to temp, and transfer in cold food, before letting the car system take over. It's done pretty well over quite a warm Victorian summer, was pretty consistent on those 36c-40c days, running from a small solar and battery setup in the car, though you want some ventilation or shade.
In terms of cooling temps, have not tested freezing things, I pretty much set it to 0c, and depending on what's in the fridge, and where you put a digital thermometer it measures between 1c and 3c at that setting. There are a couple of modes, like eco and max, whilst I don't know for sure, but by observing I think its just the compressor switching on a little earlier when the temp drops inside.
Capacity is about right for up to 5 days of mixed meal solutions for me and two of the kids, but you wont have a lot of space to cool water.
Am happy with my purchase. Happy to answer any questions. (edit, related to this fridge, lol)

would this fit in the tesla model y like the king escape 30?

Looks like DUNE is much larger than kings.
Dune: 613(L) x 335(W) x 395(H) mm
Escape 30: External: 587mm x 365mm x 368mm

I use this as a makeup/cosmetic fridge for my partner in the summer, highest it can be set to is 10 degrees but that's not too bad for that purpose.
A bit utilitarian looking though for that. :p
