Cracker deal but just can’t justify spending this much on memory when I’m kind of making do with what I’ve got.

    • I've blowing dust off of my old HDDs and considering using them.

Some quick extra info on this one to help out.

This offering is a DRAM-less QLC drive. It's Gen4 with low I/O speeds of 4600/3900 respectively. Low Tier drive but should be OK if you need a low access drive for file storage.

Its so crazy that we now consider 4GBps to be low I/O. What a time to be alive.

      • Yeah, I have a sk hynix gen 5 drive doing 10gbps and my gen 4 990 pro doing 7gbps (both on paper specs) and honestly can't tell the difference. Whenever I do move files they also don't reach those speeds always but honestly it's already so fast that I can't really be bothered if they don't reach those speeds anyway.

FWIW all 2230 SSDs will be DRAMless.

It should still be good enough for gaming
