Bellroy 25% off: e.g. Hide & Seek Wallet $96.75 + $9.95 Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store/ $100 Order/ DJ Cardholder) @ David Jones

580

It looks like the David Jones Bellroy 25% deal is back.

I was able to get a hide and seek for that price.

First post so go easy, I also did do it through shopback so potential of a 7.5% cashback (or 9.5% with Westpac group) but I'm unsure if that includes sale items :)

Update: Cashback Tracked!

Indeed, mine has been going strong since 2014! It is looking a little rough but unless you inspect it closely it still looks great

ive had my LV wallet since 2013 and it still looks relatively new

        • +3

Do you sit on it everyday like I do?

          • +6

@bcYield: No it’s in my left pocket I don’t want back problems

        • Topper: “That’s nothing, I…”

      • Same, bought one 2014, maybe early 2015 in a tan colour. Other than the leather exterior being a little worn it's still in great condition considering it's been used for over a decade.

  • Thanks for sharing op

  • The little metal logo popped off my Bellroy wallet. Wasn't that old.

    • Perhaps ask if they can replace it? I've heard they can be good about these things.

    • -2

It's lifetime warranty. Could the wallet be replaced?

      • +1

"Backed by our 3 year warranty"

  • Has anyone relined a wallet recently? How much did it cost you?

  • Anyone know which animal leather it is

    • +4

"All our leather is full-grain, chrome-tanned, cow leather."

      • +1

        I prefer Edge-tanned

        • +1

          Liar, nobody prefers edge!

I’ve had a Slim Sleeve wallet for a few years, and it’s the perfect wallet for me. I had been looking for a slim and compact wallet for years, and the Slim Sleeve was the most compact and slimmest yet the most practical wallet I found which is not just a card holder.
It doesn’t have RFID blocking, which I initially thought was a downside, but actually turned out to be a huge upside. I carry my office key card in my wallet, and when I previously had an RFID-blocking wallet, I had to open the wallet and touch the sensor or take the card out. Now I can simply tap the wallet if I keep the key card as the outermost card.
But I also bought two paper thin RFID blockers and sandwiched rest of the cards between them. That way, I get RFID protection for all my other cards except for the key card. That’s just perfect.

Do you have a link please?

    • Gosh, that's a lot of effort behind carrying a wallet.
I haven't carried one since NSW transport started letting me use the credit card for my commutes.

  • +2

Not sure if I'd like my wallet to play hide n seek with me ;)
    Nice deal though.

  • Do they do any trifold wallets?

  • +10

But if I buy this, I will have nothing to put in it.

    First post so go easy

    It’s your second post.

Great wallets though! Mine lasted a lifetime, that is, I don’t use it daily anymore.

I bought the travel wallet recently, still good quality.

  • Who uses a wallet these days or past 5 years!!??

    • +1

      Me?

    • +3

Do you just store cash up your butthole or something?

    • -3

Came here to say this. I haven't used cash in at least 5 years, and many shops around are pretty hesitant to accept cash. Only need phone.

      • How many months do you estimate it would take you to pay off this wallet with the credit card surcharges you're paying?

        • I don't have a credit card. But let's see. When do my groceries at Colesworth I get zero surcharge, sooo infinity years?

          • +1

@ratman: Fair enough. I'm invested, farm points on a free credit card and pay with cash where there are surcharges or smaller vendors which have min spend criteria or prefer cash.

Also have a selection of cards that need a ride.

        • +1

hsbc is subsidizing the surcharges for me.

      • Cash is king

  • Reasonable offers.No laneway Saroche

  • I have been looking for a slim rfid wallet to replace my wurkin stiffs. however just remember that i barely bring any wallet with me nowadays.

  • Any alternatives to this? Some Fossil brand wallets on Amazon look good

    • Can second fossil, I was gifted a wallet from them over a decade ago. Lining is busted, but otherwise still in great shape and I use it daily.
