Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle $698 + Postage ($0 C&C/ In-Store) @ Harvey Norman ($663.10 Price Beat @ Officeworks)

720

This is not going to be a deal for everyone, but if you’re in the market for a new Switch 2 because of Pokopia this might be the best option as long as you get the OW price beat.

If you wait a few days for March 10th you can get 12 months Nintendo switch online for free but not sure if prices will stay the same or be cheaper.

Switch 2 console by itself at HN is 646 so you can price beat it at OW to 613 if market place ain’t your thing.

      Game key card too.

The game key card isn’t that big of a deal really, in my opinion anyway.
I mean how many games can you play anymore, on any console, that don’t have huge drive installs or day one patches to make it run?
If I buy a disc game for the Xbox I install the full game to the drive first using the app and I’m essentially just sticking in the disc to verify that I own it - pretty much the same way the game key card works.

Pokopia isn't Cyberpunk though. It should easily fit in a small game cart.

It's also a Pokemon game, so why is it a game key card.

          • +1

@Circly: Beats me, but there really should’ve been a 32GB game card option instead of only being able to buy 64GB, which is too expensive to warrant a full cart release.

That's right, because the switch 2 only has the capability to play this ONE video game, doesn't it!!

Great comment, edgelord. 11/10, would read again.

Monster Hunter Stories 3, Donkey Kong Bananza, the newly announced Pokémon games.. Probably the next Zelda, RE: Requiem..

But hey, keep spending your weekend writing comments on a forum about how you think a video game console isn't good value for money, edgelord.

@MarisaEm: wow you are so incredibly fragile, do you need justification that spending all your yearly savings on a switch 2 was a good idea?

nice projecting seeing as you are also writing comments on a forum to argue and feel better about your purchases

    • Good one!!!

It's almost as if this is what exclusives are made to do

    • +1

The best part is pokepedia is switch 2 only.

But you can play it via gameshare on the switch 1 via a friend on switch 2.

Why wouldn't they just release it on switch 1 then 😭.

I understand. Corporate greed etc new product etc

      • +2

The Switch 2 still handles the processing while game sharing, it basically shoots a video stream to the switch 1.

If they had released it on Switch 1 y'all would have a bunch of new things to complain about instead. The Dragon Quest Builder games already run enough on switch 1.
