Would you like to play a game?
Free movie to stream on YouTube (with ads for non premium users or ad-free with premium).
Kind of a topical movie right now with the debate between Anthropic and US Gov.
Great movie.
Your move.

The only winning move is not to play.
Oy vey!
Spoiler!
Anyone shown this to trump?
It's too old for trump
Anthropic, eat your heart out.
I just read the Wargames bit in Ready Player One. Perfect time for a rewatch, thanks OP!
If you enjoy Ready Player One then don't bother with Ready Player Two.
watch on Brave Browser for no ads
Shall we play a game?
Synopsis: Ferris Bueller's day out; but with computers.
surprisingly not included in Amazon prime subscription… even though Amazon acquired MGM, you have to subscribe to pay and subscribe to MGM+.
Amazon acquire MGM for $8.5 billion.
In July 2024 we get Prime with Ads.
But now it's YouTube that has a MGM movie for free, but it's paywalled on Prime.
I would have though YouTube is covering licensing fees with Ads, as Prime has started to do too? 🤔
the 1 week free trial to subs through Primevideo is recurring every year btw. the 1 week trial has been enough for me to catch the new releases that were on those subs.
I can confirm I successfully claimed 1 week free trial every year for these subs: MGM, Lionsgate+, Paramount+, Shudder, AMC.
the only one i have only done once was Apple TV+. and for some reason I think the apps I have talk to each other , and because I got early bird discount offer for HBO Max for 3 months, they have never offered me a 1 week free trial through Prime.
Sooo many free movies on YouTube it's crazy.
Give them bread and circuses and the masses will never revolt.
Great film. Great 80s vibe too.
Great spontaneous one liner "I'd piss on a spark plug if I thought it'd do any good."
This was THE 1980s movie that got me into computers, the BBS scene and learning about modems/war dialling/finding unlisted university phone systems that we could log into.
There are hundreds of free movies on YouTube, they're not bargains, unless you think free-to-air TV is also a bargain or that we should make a post for every one of the hundreds, potentially thousands, of free movies on YouTube. If that's the case and this negative review gets revoked, I'll get started!
This is just to make 80's geeks happy :)
Agreed 100%
If you can watch it on demand, suggest you get started.
