Hi Ozbargainers,

Bit of a different deal again tonight, this is pretty much every surplus, bonus, short dated item we have in stock bundled into ONE listing. Rather than span the next 2-3 month dribbling these deals out individually, they are all listed as one tonight! Pay $7.99 to (mostly) cover the cost of satchel shipping with tracking and insurance and add as much to the bundle as you like. All of these items are available with longer dates (see my previous ozb listings for many) so if you want the item, but also want it with a exp longer date, make a comment below and I'll try to post a link to the same item with a longer exp. Feel free to add whatever you like to your cart tonight, pay postage once irrespective of how many items are ordered and it will all ship out together by satchel.

I don't want to nitpick but I hate contradictions. Your website says:

    Free Shipping
Everything on this website is shipped FREE Australia Wide. Items may be flat packed for free shipping.

    • Yes trying new things, historically we have shipped everything for free but I think the model is on the way out.

Edit: Updated the text on the website so those that don't want to nitpick but do anyway can move on

99.9% of products listed on our website are shipped FREE Australia Wide. Items may be flat packed for free shipping.  If you'd prefer we keep retail packing intact, just select paid regular or paid express satchel shipping at checkout. Items which have an additional shipping cost are clearly listed as such, and a fee for shipping will be shown at checkout.

  • Excellent deals. I need a replacement for nasonex, what would you recommend? Anything from this sale?

  • Ah damn, just made an order earlier today for the biyearly top up of antihistamines.

  • Panamax 500mg 50 tablets cheaper at Chemist Warehouse $2.49 vs $2.99 plus shipping here

    • Cool story, but what if you don't have a CW nearby or can't otherwise get out? If that's the case then this will be a comparable deal. Besides, the whole idea of this deal is to build a bundle so the overall shipping cost is spread out between all the items you purchase. Thus, the example of paracetamol you cite is mostly likely going to be in amongst many other items instead of a singleton all on its own.

  • I love these with a coating of honey dipped in milk

  • Your professional duty as a pharmacist is to supply medicines safely and with appropriate advice. Why are you promoting the bulk sale of often short dated medicines when you know that they can be harmful when taken too often or for too long or in the wrong circumstances reasons? You already know for example that too much paracetamol can kill and that taking ibuprofen for long periods is harmful.

It is no excuse that supermarkets and service stations can sell certain quantities of some of these medicines - you are trained to know better.

    • How do you know buyers won't be able to finish what they buy before the expiry dates? How do you know what their regular dosage is? How do you know they are not sharing the supply with family and friends? What makes you think you know better than those who are paying for the medications (for their own, or their family and friend's, consumption) with full knowledge of their expiry dates?

      • Especially if you seek to buy larger quantities of Schedule 2 or 3 medicines over the counter, most reputable pharmacists (or in the case of S2 medicines their trained pharmacy assistants) will try to have a conversation with you about safety and limits and contraindications. Professionals are likely to be wary of selling you large doses of short dated medicines because of the risk of over use in the short period left.

        • Each listing in the headline deal is for 1x (one) box of medication. Many clients typically buy multiple medications at once (ie/ 1x Paracetamol, 1x Ibuprofen, 1x antihistamine box). All that is on offer here is the ability to pay postage once and bundle multiple items which many clients typically do anyway - its just they typically incur postage on each item (built into the price) ie/ if you purchase an item for $20 from our store, $4 is allocated towards its postage cost, if you buy 3x items in this situation, while the postage cost is "free" or included in the price, an allocation of $12 is made at our end for freight. All that is being trialed in this listing is offering a 1x $7.99 freight price for multiple items, which is how pretty much every other pharmacy retailer operates.

  • How much is the Nexcid? It says $0.99 here but $1.49 on the listing page.
