The build quality has improved a bit in the newer models but the pricing is insane.. ultra premium pricing..
btw jb commercial have openfit2+ for 239$ plus delivery, all the time also newer open fit pro is around 289 thats something worth checking out
I got the open run pro 2 on AliExpress for ~$160 AUD a few weeks ago. Successfully registered the SN with Shokz. I combined with TopCashback uk using new user referral and 13% cashback too. Much cheaper than anywhere here in Australia.
When my AfterShokz developed the rattle and Shokz wouldn't replace them I bought a ~$20 pair of bone conduction headphones on Aliexpress and they're fine, not water proof but fine.
Their warranty and after sales support is bloody pathetic.
I bought the sun glasses with integrated bone conduction earphones - you can't even find them on their site anymore.
They seem to be pretending they don't exist. They were called Roadwavez.
I managed to snap the sunglasses "glass" in the middle, the conductive arms were fine.
Emailed to ask if I could buy new glasses for the frames.
No, no spares available.
Search on the US site, spares available in multiple types, polarised etc.

Great so I've got working frames, broken glasses and no way of replacing them.

GGuys commercial alao still seem to have these pretty cheap. I got the Open Move a while back for $81.09 and still at that price. OR pro2 are $208.53 and OFAir are $132,20
