- 98% Cashback is for the VPN service only (basic plan, no add-ons). NordPass password manager, NordLocker cloud storage etc are ineligible for cashback.
- Choose a country with NO GST/tax e.g. Christmas Island. Screenshot here. GST is ineligible for cashback.
- Use a new email address for NordVPN if you have purchased before. The same payment card and same TopCashback account are fine.
- Pay with a card without international transaction fees. If using PayPal AU, there could be a currency conversion fee from PayPal AU. These fees are not eligible for cashback.
- The tracked amount in your TopCashback account will be slightly lower than what you are charged. This is probably due to the currency conversion fees/taxes as NordVPN reports to TopCashback in USD which is converted to AUD. 98% cashback minus the fees/taxes.
- If your order doesn't track, please cancel and request for a refund from NordVPN within 30 days under their 30-day money-back guarantee. Please do not submit a missing cashback claim.
- If you cancel for non-tracking, you can buy again. Use a new email address for NordVPN with the same TopCashback account. Same payment card is fine.
- You can cancel auto-renewal after you have received cashback.
For better tracking, use the TopCashback app, click the "Get 98% Cashback" pink button to the NordVPN website (not app), use mobile data (not Wi-Fi) and Chrome browser.
TA's Tracking Tips:
- Prior to using TopCashback, disable/remove all 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave and close any additional browser tabs.
- For iOS device: Apart from ensuring you’re not using an AdBlock app for Safari, the most important one is to ensure you have ‘Prevent Cross-Site Tracking’ turned off (see here).
What will stop me getting my cashback
- Cashback is eligible in full on NordVPN's Basic Plan only. If you choose the Plus Plan or Complete Plan, only the VPN component of the plan will be eligible for cashback. Any additional products that come bundled with those plans will be ineligible for cashback (eg. NordPass, NordLocker, and others).
- Cashback is eligible for new NordVPN customers only. Renewals are ineligible.
- A new click/tap from TopCashback's 'Get cashback' button must be generated with each new order from NordVPN. Failure to do so will cause all cashback on subsequent orders to be declined by NordVPN.
- Cashback is ineligible on payments made with Crypto currency.
- NordVPN is excluded from all signup and referral bonus thresholds.Reference the Tell-a-Friend terms for more information.
- Cashback is ineligible on use of any coupon codes not advertised on our platform.
- Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards, vouchers, or store credit for partial or full payment. Cashback is also ineligible on purchase of gift cards.
- Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.
What else is essential
- NordVPN orders report to your account excluding GST and other taxes, and may show a further difference in purchase amount due to international conversion rates. This is beyond our control.
- Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, DNS AdGuard, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
- Accept and allow all 3rd party cookies on the retailer's page if requested.
- Return to TopCashback to click the 'Get Cashback' button for each new transaction.
- Transactions must be completed solely & wholly online and must not be assisted or negotiated via phone/chat/email. Failure to do so will cause tracking to fail and/or have cashback declined.
