  • Thoughts on this against the recent Dreame JB deal?
I like the idea of having a removable battery

    • Sorry no idea about how Dreame compares with this. However, you could do a comparison of specs from the Bosch site to see which one suits you better. The bosch does come with a 10 year motor warranty. The battery will probably not last that long, but with a couple of battery replacements, you could get 10 years out of it before warranty runs out.

      • I got Dreame R10 and the suction was poor and battery doesn’t last more than 8 min on full power. Mine was faulty. Requested a refund and they were pushing for repair. After few back and forth finally managed to get a refund. Debating between this Bosch and Dyson V8

        • +1

I have a Dyson V8 and it does a great job.. however, the battery dies just outside of the 2 year warranty (think it was 2 years and 3 months). Contacted Dyson support and they sent a replacement battery free of cost. Other than that, it has been going strong for 4 years now. I do feel that the battery doesnt last long enough in powerful mode and when I am using it for cleaning the car, I either have to rush or wait for the unit to be recharged before I can finish the car. Unsure how the Bosch would perform but it says 30 minutes runtime and with those removable batteries, you could have two of them to get the best out of it. And it is less than half the price you will get a V8 for.

    • Dreame sucks, in a bad way. They cheap out most components to get down to that price. I would get Bosch at 50% any day.

    • BTW, If you still need the Dreame one, It is available for same price as the JB offer in-store with TheGoodGuys.

      • The dreame Z10 is $199 at JB atm.

    • We got the dreame as well. Suction is very poor. Haven't owned any other cordless but pretty much have to use it on the highest setting for any rugs or carpet and even then it misses a lot. Would only recommend for hard floors.

  • My $150 corded Bosch is surprisingly powerful so imagine this one goes pretty well in terms of cordless. Self empty dock would be perfect here.

  • For anyone who owns or has owned this model, could you share its suction power? Is it strong enough for everyday use? Are there any other important things we should know about it?

  • -1

    so does this thing suck?

  • does this work with the batteries from the blue bosh power tools?

    • Only green range

    • +2

its the green range but you can get a battery adaptor to use the blue batteries for about $25 off ebay or even less on aliexpress. (~$16)

but if you have different batteries could buy those adaptors as well, doesnt need to be bosch.

    • In general what's the cost for battery which can be used with this vacuum cleaner (just in case if we want to purchase additional battery for backup)?

      normal usage: 30 mins runtime
      boost mode: 8 mins runtime
      charging time: 4 hours

      Warranty on motor: 10 Years

so battery would require replacement at some point considering suction power is good enough in the future.

  • I had the Dyson V8 it was good but not as good as the Bosch. The V8's trigger had to be depressed all the time, the Bosch press it once and voila it goes until you press it again. The Dyson's battery was naff and to replace, not goo. The Bosch battery is good but I bought a 5.0ah and now I can do a 4 b'room two storey house no probs. The V8 is not that easy to empty and clean, the Bosch is simple and in four years nothing has been replaced. I gave the V8 to my son, he is killing it!

    • @Madbro
Can you share a link to add-on battery that you use or works with this (Bosch) vaccum cleaner to increase runtime.

  • Hi Experts,

Do you think below battery can be used with this Bosch Vaccum Cleaner.

Ozito PXC 18V 2.5Ah Battery and Charger PXBC-25B

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-2-5ah-battery-and-…

    • I know there were 3d printed adaptors to use the ozito batteries in a Dyson

  • Anyone know if this is available in-store? It's currently sold out online.
