Handy price saving tips:

AliExpress Coins can be redeemed for larger discounts (up to 95%) on most products.

To use AliExpress Coin super discounts:

  • Download the AliExpress app
  • Go to Coins on the home page or Account → Coins
  • Purchase products from this page to get the discount
  • You’ll see products with higher coin discounts based on your browsing patterns
  • Use the Discount Finder to locate bigger Coin discounts on items from your search history or cart

AliExpress Local+

AliExpress have now made it easier to identify products located in Australia with the Local+ banner. These products ship from Australia, often from Amazon via MFC and will not incur a GST charge at checkout.

Coupon error codes explained:

Congrats on reading this far. Here's the reason the codes aren't applying (hint: set to USD as said countless times)

Unable to apply promo code. The total after discount (excl. shipping) doesn't meet the minimum purchase amount

GST and shipping are not included in the minimum spend and some items in your cart may be ineligible for the promotion. AUD amounts are estimates and may fluctuate due to exchange rate changes, while USD amounts do not fluctuate. To avoid issues consider switching your currency to USD and ensure the minimum spend is met before applying the code.

This coupon code can’t be used in combination with other discounts

This means the item is already discounted, excluded from the promotion or a new user “welcome deal” is being applied which prevents additional coupons from being used.

Sorry, the coupon code you entered is based on a first-come, first-served basis and has already been used by other shoppers.

This means the coupon has reached its maximum number of redemptions. AliExpress may restock these codes at random, so it’s worth checking again later.

This coupon code is now unavailable. Try collecting another

This means the coupon has already been used, you have reached the maximum number of uses allowed per user or the code is no longer valid.

This coupon code is for single use only

This means the code doesn't exist.

For those paying in USD this is how you get the correct exchange rate in PayPal:

AliExpress trade in USD and setting overseas websites to AUD or letting PayPal do the currency conversion results may result in an inflated rate. To get the correct rate you need a card without international fees and do the following:

  • Set the website currency to USD
  • Checkout with PayPal
  • Select your card with no international fees
  • Click "See currency options"
  • Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD
  • Proceed with checkout

Now you'll get the correct MasterCard or VISA exchange rate.

Nice 👍 Was gonna buy several items from them a few days ago, but then decided to hold off in case there was another coupon deal soon. Looks like my patience has paid off😁. Thankyou @Clear 🍻

Friends don't let friends buy from AliExpress without a coupon sale :)

  • Fingers crossed for a good Xiaoxin tablet deal or two!

    • +2

Now that there's a PayPal offer I think we should get some good prices. Hopefully on the GT.

    • +2

Out of the 25 products AliExpress have agreed to do a price drop on… some of the Xiaoxin tablets are included :)

  • +2

    Thankyou @Clear

  • +3

The quality of items have gone down recently, in every package 1-2 items are damaged or has issues. Last time, i had an issue, so requested refund/return, and they provided return label with the fee three times the item's price. Contacting support is meaningless, it's just chatbot and have to repeat the message every few minutes.

    • +2

Seller specific really. Bundle deals will put a heap of smaller bags in one bigger bag that can be a problem if you're fussed about a box being a bit squashed. Meanwhile my DDPAI dashcam arrived today in perfect condition. It was two boxes in a bag.

    • What did you buy?

      • bunch of cheap items from bundle deals. Not high value, so not the end of the world. Never has issue with high value items though.

    • +2

Same here. They forgot to pack one of the items, when I contacted for a refund, they asked for a video of me opening the package and showing item is not there (package sealed and label visible). Do everyone film themselves unpacking their AliExpress stuff? Lol. You get what you pay for

  • for the big coins discount on the coin page, i am only able to get the discount by clicking "Buy it Now" for a single item right? is there a way to buy multiple big coins discount items in the same transaction (different items)?

    • +2

It's definitely possible but very glitchy. If you see the button that says Add to Cart, then yes, it will add to cart with the coins discount when you checkout later from the main cart even with multiple other items.

However, for certain items, don't know if it's intentional, but it ONLY allows you to BUY NOW. I've discovereed this sometimes for very low value items like less than $5 that give 95% coins discount, and only allows to buy ONE only, means its less than $15, so you have to pay the shipping fee. Pointless.

  • Anybody know if I can use a Wise card as a "card without international fees"?

  • Increased topcashback cashback would also sweeten the deal.

  • +1

Anyone have an issue with bundle deals where when you click into that section it's no longer just showing bundle deals and the prices have become a lot higher? The UI also looks different. Free shipping is also written in AUD ($15) rather than USD. I checked my currency and USD is still selected. Not quite sure what has gone on.

    • Still fine for me on the app

    • YES! This issue still affecting my account too. Its basically showing the Superdeals prices in the Bundles section, which is much higher than Bundles prices. It's been ongoing for almost 2 weeks now for me.

Luckily it works on desktop website, shows normal bundle dicounted price.

  • Their Bundles section on the app is still broken for me. No longer shows the bundles discounted pricing. Have to use their website on desktop to get the bundles prices. Very frustrating.

  • Waiting for dashcam sales now!

  • Better wait to buy handheld console online instead, while in china prices from shops are much higher, only good thing is can physical feel and see the actual item

  • The anniversary page says it starts at Mar 16, 17:00 AEST hence could the time please be updated to 6pm AEDT?

    • All the previous sales they've put AEST instead of AEDT and it's been 7pm.

      • AliExpress times are based on US Central Time, which started daylight savings last week (8th March), hence the 1 hour earlier time. Ie Sale starts 17:00 AEST, 18:00 AEDT

        • They still put AEST all 365 days of the year. I'll take your word for it. Hopefully no complaints from the mods again.

          • @Clear: You may have noticed, as I did, that ‘new day’ coin check-in changed from 6pm to 5pm (I’m in Qld) recently. Cheers 😀

  • Has the deal already started? There are some codes AUSS10 for $10 off $70 spend for example.

    • No just the promotion page has gone live. All the coupons mentioned are already in the deal.

      • Ok, do you think TopCashBack will increase the cashback on this deal as they did last time?

        • Yep

  • any recommendations on portable soldering irons?

Is TS80/TS100 still the go to?

    • I got the Alientek T90b and have been happy with it. Some people on Reddit were recommending c245 irons over the old ts100 style ones.

I thought this guy gave a pretty good comparison https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=aeXGb5q1OTA (I think he has also since release a part 2 video)

    • Sequre S99 is worth a look, quite powerful when given the right juice.

  • How is everyone shopping on Aliexpress? Whenever I click on an item I get taken to the bundle products page.

    • +1

Not clicking on the tiles that say bundle deals on it.

    • +2

From what I remember, if you do want something from the bundles page but don't want to buy it in a bundle, you can click the item on the bundle page, it will open the modal with the product - scroll right to the bottom, there will be a link which will take you directly to the product you can buy outside a bundle. Just be aware, it will be a little bit more expensive.

      • +3

Good tip. Just tested this and found the product was slightly cheaper when NOT bundled. So definitely worth checking, even if you're planning on picking up a few things.

  • Am I missing something, but the codes and amounts are different on AliX ?

    • With the exception of one that I just fixed, the prices are correct in USD which is the currency that AliExpress trades in. If you're looking at the AUD amounts, then please take note of the ~ symbol which means approximately. The post explains in great detail why the AUD amounts are an estimate.

      • Ah yep it's now the 3rd column codes per your updated post. Wasnt re USD/AUD. Cheers

  • @Clear how do you get them? Anything for New Zealand?

    • +1

The AliExpress sale page should show you codes for New Zealand. I believe they're the standard global codes:

Discount US$ Min Spend US$ Discount % Coupon Code
      3 15 20.00% AFAS3
      5 30 16.67% AFAS5

Aliexpress is very doggy.. The price of the item i wait for the discount today has been gone up and event higher than the price yesterday after applied the discount code

    • Go yell at the store for raising their prices.

    • use the Aliexpress mobile app… the prices are generally 5-10% cheaper , you can still use the cashback apps to track

    • Has it? The prices are ex GST. When checking out, the GST will be added and this will increase the price

  • Has anyone noticed a change in how their system works?

The are many items now that i cant add to my cart - and hence i cant really use these codes with. These items are usually better priced than the alternative that CAN be added to the cart.

It would seem that they're making these discount codes pointless … as it comes out about the same if you were to purchase the cheaper buy-now single item..

    • It’s not new, and it does make it harder, but you can still use coupon codes with ‘buy it now’ only items, you just can’t stack different products together to get the value up. You can also buy multiple of the same item, if available and useful to you, to get the value up.

  • Ssau15 gone

  • Anyone have issues applying the codes? My order is greater than USD$15 before shipping and tax and it says I haven’t met the minimum amount

  • promo code - ~14%
    Cashback - 20%
    Paypal - ~10%
Team ozbargain - 10% credit back

@Clear Is there any other time of the year where the discounts is this insane??
I recently made a purchase and now i feel ripped off LOLOLOL

I don't want to make another aliexpress purchase unless i get these kinda discounts now lmao

    • Well the TopCashback 20% is not guarantee because not all product are affiliates.

      • Not sure why non affiliates get also tracked

        • Yes, but you may not get the 20% cashback.

      • You can check the link beforehand, if unsure. Aliexpress has a link checker for affiliate.

    • Don't forget about Coins ;)
And some stores have their own stackable store coupons (always check the coupon banner or store page)
I just made a purchase with all 6 of these discounts.

      Next one will be june

  • i did all the steps for the pay in USD on paypal and aliexpress, but I dont see the "See currency options" option.

    • When paying within paypal, it should appear.

  • Whats good to buy from Aliexpress?? I need ideas. This sale is too good. I need to take full advantage of it lol. Already purchased 4 Way of Wade basketball shoes.

    • There's heaps of niche hobbyist stuff on Aliexpress. I buy stuff like (and for) Wireless Earbuds, IEMs, Mech Keyboards, Mice, and game controllers.

    • @Clear Would the code AUAFF100 work with TopCashback UK? It isn’t listed under the recommended vouchers, nor is there any other voucher of the same value shown.

      • +1

        Yes

    Thanks OP.

Added a number of items to the cart, and the coupon just worked. Usually in the past it was a lot of fiddling around to remove items, ensure the overall value aligns excluding taxes etc, but all good now.

    Thanks.

  • worth buying a mini pc with this deal?

Just scraped in a purchase before the sale and the TCB cashback ends. Thanks again Clear for your efforts with the rolling AliExpress deals!

  • @Clear Thankyou👍 I saved $50 with the code you provided. Plus I got a 5.5% TopCashBack of $18. For some reason the 15% one expired about a half hour early?

But still saved a good amount, mostly thanks to your code, cheers 🍻
