Other colours on sale for $1327

    I think I'll go black.

    Combine with Amex offer

  • Damn so good, traded in my 13 mini for this and it's been solid so far, great all round phone.

    • Oh no … don't want give up my 13 mini.

      • It was time for me unfortunately :(

        • Yeah 13 mini has been garbage since iOS26. Slow, hot and poor battery. Im half tempted to leave Apple given they wont sell me a small phone and the OS is utter trash these days.

  • Any giftcard deal for ow?

  • Why not iphone 17 pro ?

    • -1

17 Pro is a dud compared to older Pro models. When a current flagship model ends up being the most traded-in it says it all:

iPhone 17 Pro Max becomes most traded-in smartphone as people say they 'regret' buying it
      https://www.unilad.com/technology/news/iphone-17-pro-max-tra…

In my experience the camera in my 13 mini is significantly better than the 16. There are thousands of threads and articles complaining about the decline in camera quality which seems to be caused by aggressive post-processing.

      • +4

You mention 17 Pro, while the article is clearly talking about the 17 Pro max (because it's too big). Photo quality, by the way, has massively improved since the 13 series.

        • Price pointer says that buy iphone 17 but pro looks more promising with zoom; it comes with 700$ increase. A19 processor is faster in pro but definitely i dont like to buy thing that one day i will use it that never happens:)

Hence i thought to find a deal on pro.

      • Thanks for the link. Yea max is out of my range. I am inclined to towards pixel 10 pro comapring with iphone 17 pro. If i go pixel pro then may be just iphone 17.

chatgpt comparison also highlighted that the quality is good for iphone 17 pro.

The debate on features is here to stay, the main catch is price point that apple is very dominating.

I am inclining toward iphone bcause of just it works , never go slow.

pro is gimmick, to make consumer spend more

      • I Agree

  • Is the OW pricebeat price potentially ATL so far? Albeit just for the black colored model

    • +1

      I think so

    Does officeworks always pricematch this?

    • +3

Just went to Officeworks Alexandria this morning- and they were happy to price beat to the website.

      • Same, different store but they price matched

      • Was it for the same black color or did you manage to get a different color?

        • +1

Price beat for black - they checked the mpn and seemed pretty firm on an exact match for me.

    • Went to Officeworks Carlton to price match and got one.

    • Took me 3 phone calls and 2 shop visits - got OW to price beat earlier today!

  • Are these local unactivated stock?

  • Price matched at Kew East this morning

    • Much stock left?

  • +2

Don't forget to stack with Amex for those who has it.

  • Couldn’t get a price beat at Fitzroy as it’s listed as “awaiting stock” which is a back order.

Edit: Went to Richmond, no stock but they price beat on the spot, I paid and it’s click and collect back at Fitzroy. Hopefully the same manager isn’t there.

  • +1

Confirming Officeworks Capalaba price beats to $1194!

    • lucky you, did they not see the “awaiting stock” when checking online?

  • would Apple not price match this?

    • +1

Worth a try, check out this thread, although Officeworks will beat it. But I'm guessing you've got a reason to prefer Apple.

      • yeah I have some Apple Gift cards saved up, and will wait for some more when Flybuys does their next promo. Slowly getting there haha.
If Apple does 10% or so off according to the post, its 10% off for Flybuys, 10% instore plus my current gift cards. Not a bad deal.

  • went to 2 OW this morning to PM, both rejected due to 'waiting on stock'. Wish digidirect didn't have those wording on their item page.

    • Try to give OW a call on 1300 633 423.

  • Will OW be able to price match again once stock is back? Does anyone know the likelihood of there being time once it is restocked to price match at OW or will it sell out instantly?

  • +2

Went to North Ryde OW for a price match just now. Succeeded.

    • can you share the receipt? im having no luck

  • +1

Just got OW to price beat. I guess you just gotta get the right person - Receipt

  • With Officeworks you can also get 5970 Flybuys worth $29.85 off future shops. Gotta be a OnePass member to get 5x.

    • +1

There is a Flybuys offer of 5x points at the moment too (not sure if targeted). Does this stack with OnePass 5x points potentially making it 10x points (equaling 5%)?

      • Not sure, was that an Officeworks offer? I didn’t get it.

        • +1

Yes Officeworks offer on your Flybuys account.

  • +1

    Just price beat at OW.

  • I just tried over the phone and he was right onto the 'not in stock'. I imagine not the first call he's had about this.

    • Keep trying - absolutely comes down to the individual, whether it be on the phone or in-store.

  • Office works at Capalaba just did a price match for me with no issues.

  • Would love to be able to price match with Officworks, but every time I call, no one picks up…

  • Did anyone try other shops like JB or GoodGuys to price beat?

  • Price beat successful with OW.

  • OW Price beat denied in person at Carlton but successful over the phone. And then collected from Carlton!
