Haven't had to use these properly yet, but bought one for my work keys and connected it to my Google account.
Was pretty seemless
Bought one, put it on my cat collar. Within a week my cat lost his collar on neighbor's property. For another week we had no idea where the collar/tracker was. Turns out it was less than 30m away and couldn't pick up the signal while being at home most of the time. Not impressed really.
This is the problem with Androids ass implementation of UWB and the limitations of Bluetooth tracking.
It's one thing I really miss after switching back to Android after a few cycles on iOS.
I started to take the tracking and left behind notifications etc for granted and didn't realise Apple actually had a really good implementation of it.
I bought these Motorola's as well, I've actually tried 3 different tags and they're all rubbish, at least for me and in comparison to my experiences with AirTags.
Yeah I thought that maybe none of my neighbors had Android, so bought some Ugreen tags and linked it to iOS. We bought some tiles too, which seems to be better than the Motorola too.
Anyway, why buying OP when you can grab the Ugreen for half the cost.
30 meters is a fairly significant distance when talking about radio waves from a device this small. I don't think my iPhone could have picked up an AirTag from further than 7-8 meters away (10 meters max for an indication that it could find the tag, 5-6 meters before it could start giving me an arrow to locate the device). Unless there was another Android at or near your neighbour's house to relay the signal, then you're going to have trouble finding it from that distance.

Have you tried going 30 metres away from source with any Bluetooth device and seeing if it stays connected?
I know Bluetooth has come a long way but I highly doubt 30metres is true

I found the battery life is shorter than expected.
A new version moto tag 2 is in horizon, that may improve battery life.
