Same

Same same

Same same same

Same same same

Shame shame shame - I didn’t get the offer

I only get $10 off $100, boo.

Same..

Same! So i can spend $50 and get $50 cash out?

$20 off $200 - Doh!!

Same here, maybe the more often you buy from Coles, the less chance to get an incentive…

I have $20 on $200 and $20 on $100.

$10 on $100 ugghh!

same!

I used to get $5 on $50. Now i keep getting $10 on $100…

A reminder that cashout also counts.

You gotta be kidding me XD

It has been mentioned in every recent Coles Yello post including in the description of the one in January, which you upvoted so it shouldn't be a surprise :)
It should be stated explicitly in the deal post but that's up to the OPs.

Just a matter of time before this loophole is closed.
Or, maybe they know and they don't care.
@DoctorCalculon: No way of predicting and no point trying. It could be tomorrow, it could be never. Make hay while the sun shines.

Really? Damn son

Mine is $60 off $200 spending.

Man who did you blow to get that?

Is this yellow gold or diamond? I'm on Yello plus and don't see this or the Amazon offer.

I’m on diamond. Spend $200 get $60 back.

Hot damn

I'm also on Yello plus and got both of those offers, they always seem a bit random as sometimes I've not recieved other others that were posted here, eg Chemist warehouse.

Do offers get better with the tiers or?

I seem to get more frequent offers eg the Coles cashback since I got Yello Plus. But reading other comments that could be wholly random.
I also opened a credit card around the same time so they are probably encouraging me to spend more.

I get it on the base tier

Thanks for the heads up. Reckon I'll see what a complaint does.

What it do

@capslock janitor: It did absolutely nothing 'In response to your feedback, we are not making any specific changes at this time'.

My yellow plus tier is good until the year 2099.

How

System glitch I guess, I'm not calling them to ask.

Employee?

It appeared in my account once but within a week it was corrected.

$40 off $200

Did you cash out 200

I need to go do it today, only have one day left, I will make a minimum purchase then cashout $200.

By 25, means ending today or tomorrow. Always confusing

Quite generous this time, got $20/$100 this time.

will this apply to apple gift cards ?

Anything at coles including cash out

$10 off 50 spend, stacking with spend $60 for the Flybuys points and using $10 of Flybuys points during checkout, so works out perfect.

i got $20 for $100

Thanks OP, got the $10 off $50 as well
weird that I get number of Coles offers in Yello since opening the account in CBA
but never get any Amazon offer in Yello
i was going to but they're pretty weak gc

Nothing for me.

Not sure why I haven't got coles offer for months now.

Nice I got $10 on 50

I got $30 off $150

meow too !!

Same here. Not terrible, not great. I'll take it.

I've never received anything for Coles, neither has my wife who is the primary card holder. Has anyone ever gotten some insight on the targeting?
We spend a bit at coles already, would that be a factor not to target?

Do you use the card for your everyday transaction?
Also, sometimes the offer is not showing on the main page of the app, you need to click "yello" on the bottom corner and click "offer" and see if you have the offer there.

Yep, use the card almost exclusively. Checked the yello module, could see Liquorland in there and various others but I've never seen an offer for Coles or Amazon. Diamond level, and outside the More NBN benefit all we get is the $4 monthly credit.

Gold
No offer for me.
Gold.. nothing..again.
Another complaint coming CBAs way…
Everyone else feel free to hit em up.
I'm not interested in their random allocation of offers. I'm not a marketing puzzle to play with.
Give me full hello perks or domt…and refund my yearly wealth package is my usual request.

Agree. The benefits are not meant to be a lottery. It is just marketing paid for by the supplier. In this case Coles.

Yep, have been successful in the past two years getting my $350 refunded. So go for it. Enough do it, it will change.
Been negged already for an avenue for $350.. love it!

Where do you submit the complaint to? I feel the bot chat is useless.

@double_J: Haha.. I've got a few complaint peoples email address. Pm me and I'll flick you one.
Never used the chat bot…never will.
Try typing "human" in it. If it doesn't connect to a person…move on.

Might do the same, Diamond and get bugger all from Yello.

So do you request your annual
Wealth package fee be refunded yo you?As this month that $395 fee is being added to all loans. So it will no longer be a seperate fee.
https://www.commbank.com.au/home-loans/loan-package-variatio…
I have discussed what happens if I don’t want the $395 fee from March and they said I will be on the maximum home loan rate and have to pay the $8 a month on each loan account.
I have been with commbank since 1991 and have had two major drawdowns over that time on two homes.
So much for loyalty.
I know it’s only $395 but to make it mandatory and something you can’t remove is not ok with me.

Yes I do.
Simply, what am I paying for??
I have other loans with other financial instituitions with 100% offset accounts, 0.4% better rate and no annual fee. A free credit card. Insurance is cheaper through them. Their online banking is infinitely better (CBA doesnt even let you add nicknames to your accounts. You can only put in the account holders name. So I have 8 accounts listed by my name only. I have no idea what account links to what bank. Say I want to send $50k to my online savings account with x bank…. which one is it???
Credit union/ Macqaurie (any decent bank) - I have my list of accounts, and next to it the bank it relates to. Even the loans didnt let you add the property address to them. Nightmare when you have investment properties….which loan is which when they are just numers…Just basic stuff…
The only thing CBA have different is Yello, and I am not getting the offers…and you cant tell me why.
"How about we refund you the annual fee"…

Why use nicknames when you can use anything as account names.

@PvsNP: The account names now need to match the account holders name. Otherwise it triggers some fraud filter…thing.
So with CBA I have 20 odd accounts, all listed as my name, with no reference for which is which.
My half decent banks all allow alias's next to the accounts. Ie. Home loan, interest saver etc etc.
- They actually listened and implemented alias's for loan accounts about 3 years ago… But still not in savings etc.
Just ridiculous really.

The account names now need to match the account holders name.
Account names do not need to match. My personal accounts mismatch in CBA and I have no problems transferring.

@OnlyHans: Depends on which banks you are interacting with. Some are very forceful in they must match.
Easy way around it - allow alias / naming like ever other decent bank.

@tunzafun001: Please name specific banks that you have experienced forcing account names to match exactly.

@tunzafun001: I added my Macquarie Platinum Transaction Account to CBA as a new payee, replacing my surname with Macquarie.
The app warned me that "The account name entered does not match the account", and allowed me to choose to Continue with payment or Go back.
I continued with the payment, which was transferred via Osko and appeared immediately in the Macquarie app.

@tunzafun001: No need, the warning only appeared the first time. There was no warning on the next transfer.
Regardless, it was your claim that Macquarie rejected a transfer because the account name did not match exactly. This claim is not true.
Neither CommBank nor Macquarie will prevent or reject a transfer due to name mismatch if you choose to proceed after the warning. As explained by the Australian Banking Association, Confirmation of Payee is an advisory checkpoint, not a hard block.

@OnlyHans: If there is a warning, and I ignore it and something happens…bank will throw you under the bus in a heartbeat.
If only there was a way to label your accounts and send funds without a warning!
Only CBA can't work it out…

Sorry, what, have you been removing it before? How??

Marketing plaything lol

I've never seen any Coles offers in Yello (Gold) and does anyone have tips on how to get offers like this?

Finally, after getting $5 back for $100 spend like 7 times I’ve got $20 for $100 spend. Yew.

Would it work if you buy a $50 Coles giftcard?

I've been doing cash out and I've received cash back every time.

with a credit card? isn't cash out like cash advance which incurs fees?

Just use your cba debit Mastercard. As Code said, has worked last several times for me also using cash out.

@69dollars: oh right, never used mine as I don't use CBA for savings account.
I'm guessing https://www.giftcards.com.au/ShoppingCart/ProductDetail/GC_C… would not work if the merchant is giftcards.com.au rather than Coles

Yep debit card like @69dollars said.
It reasons that gift card should also work if you're buying it in store. If commbank can't tell cash out from purchases, then gift card is no exception. They'll just see Coles payment made.

If commbank can't tell cash out from purchases
CommBank can tell the cash out component as it's explicitly listed in the transaction details - e.g.Cash Out $50.00 Purchase $0.01 - leading to inevitable questions.
To pre-empt those questions, it doesn't matter that they can see the cashout component - historically that has never prevented the cashback. (And the same is true for Supabarn.)

My CBA Mastercard is a credit card so I don't do cash out, instead I purchase a Coles Myer gift card. And I don't swipe my Flybuys card because the spend would probably spoil my next "Spend $X per week for 10K points" offer.

Yep, gift cards work, that's what I usually do.

I got $20/$100

Never!
I never get these bloody things!

Finally got one of these.
Does anybody know that this works for Coles central? As that's the nearest one to me.
So if nothing showing in the app under comm yellow and I make a purchase at Coles using my comm card over $50 does this automatically get applied? Do I receive some cashback or do I need to have this offer in my comm Yellow first to receive benefits?

You need to accept the offer first.

no

I have $20 on $100
