After breaking the 100+ up-vote barrier on our last click and collect only deal 🥳 we're back with a deal we can offer with delivery nation wide one of the most popular configs of last year (7800X3D / 5070Ti / 32G), plus a 👉 BYO option (that brings the price down to just $1,834) so you get the exact same spec without the GPU if you have one handy, or are eying a deal elsewhere.

There was a deal last month for $240 less which gave us pause on posting this deal.. even with a few lower cost models (B650 vs B850 / 240mm AIO vs 360 / CL40 RAM vs CL28 / 750w PSU vs 850w etc) it seemed like stiff competition. However digging a bit deeper it appears it's been unobtanium for a while, the default options sold out and matching our offering spec-for-spec as close as possible and comparing prices after the discount codes, we're $1,493 cheaper 😐

Usual spiel : limited stock, offer valid until sold out, wow prices high, wow prices still going up, not sure when will stop, likely not soon, stock limited, once sold out next deal likely higher priced again, hodl till OpenAI implodes or lock in sooner rather than later to avoid getting reamed even further. No corner cutting tricks like single channel RAM or skimping out on a low spec motherboard, very high end all rounder suitable for the components being offered and space for future upgrades.

Anyway… specs time!

Component Model
CPU AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core 16 Thread (7500F / 9600X / 9800X3D / 9850X3D / 9950X3D options)
MB Gigabyte B850M Gaming X WiFi6e AM5 DDR5 Motherboard w/ WiFi 6E & BT5.3 (Asus B650EM / MSI B850M options)
Cooler Gigabyte Gaming 360 ARGB ICE AIO Liquid Cooler (Vanta, Thermalright, Corsair options)

RAM 32GB (2x16G) DDR5 6000MHz CL28 (RGB / 48G / 96G options) 📍
GPU Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16G (👉 BYO / 5060 Ti / 5070 / 5080 options) 📍

OS Optional - Windows 11 Home fr $189, Pro from $309
Price $3,139 (or $1834 with BYO GPU) after $860 discount code MAD860, vs PCPP/DIY Price $3473.99

📍Where exact models are not specified, several equivalent spec models / brands may be used. Given the state of the market, it's hard to lock in large quantities of single models, but we can scrape together sufficient quantities across several equal models. For the first X number of orders (while stocks last for each item) the following models have been allocated. First ~ 50 orders of the default RAM will be KLEVV FIT V Black 32G (2x16G) 6000/CL28, the 5070 Ti is MSI Shadow 3X OC for the first ~40pc and the 1TB NVMe SSDs are Team MP44L for a similar quantity.

⌛Build Times

While we're advertising 5-7 business days from the jump, we have a batch pre-built and ready to go, and intend to under promise and over deliver as we always aim to do. Early orders will be dispatched very quickly, later orders, keep an eye on the advertised lead times on the top of the product page. We'll keep that up to date as much as possible and adjust them accordingly should we get hit with a sudden deluge of orders.

👉 Re: BYO GPU Option

Please make sure you select an appropriate PSU for your GPU. If you're unsure, a rule of thumb is 750w is plenty for up to RTX5070, 850w for RTX5070 Ti is recommended but you can get away with a 750w, and 850w is what you should be aiming for to pair with a RTX5080. If you let us know in the notes at checkout which model of GPU you're planning to add, we can pre-route the power cables accordingly for you.

    WOW 6000MHz CL28

    • This is probably dual rank so less future proof than single rank Hynix chips, with normal single rank Hynix kits (most 16GB sticks are single rank) you can tune and do 8000mhz, whereas these are very very hard to do 8000

Less relevant for 7800x3d but if you choose to upgrade in the future 8000 will give pretty good memory speed uplifts across the board

    Cracker deal!

Very well put together build in terms of component choices. My ideal PC part picker build for a solid future proof 4K gaming setup was this exact setup w/ the upgraded 9800X3D CPU).

My Evatech build from Mid 2024 is still running flawlessly. Highly recommend them!

      ❤️

  • Brilliant deal.
I would love a 9700x option on the BYO GPU deal?

    • +1

Was left out initially as the 7800X3D/9800X3D options were so aggressively discounted it didn't make a lot of sense.

We've gone ahead and added it to the list anyway for anyone who is keen on the 9700X for it's power efficiency, and improved non-gaming / multi-threading performance but for gaming, we'd strongly recommend the 7800X3D option that's slightly cheaper, or the best of both worlds if the budget allows and jumping to the 9800X3D.

      • Makes sense. I'm not a PC gamer but use a lot of content creation apps (Davinci, Unreal etc). Thank you!

  • I am impressed. DAYUM.

  • +1

Being new to Gaming PC's, adding a RTX 5080 brings the price to $3809 after discount. Is it a good price for the build?

    • +2

Grain of salt of course as it's our deal we're selling here but without assembly / setup and QA testing, DIY price on just the parts before shipping would be ~ $4054 according to PCPartPicker

Using that as a comparison point at least, it's saving $245, getting free assembly / setup and testing and a one stop shop for warranty / after sales support.

  • very interested in this deal, i will have saved up enough for the pre built by next Wednesday, will this deal still be available by then?

    • It's a while stocks last kind of deal, so unfortunately we can't predict this far out. Possibly!

      • Thank you for replying! No worries, will just have to cross my fingers and hope

  • How does this compare to Nebula's 9070XT build for $2400? This doesn't seem like it's worth the extra $700 even thought it has some better specs.

    • +1

Not a very applies to applies comparison. The bulk of the difference is the 5070 Ti vs the 9070 XT which eying rough retail differences at the moment is ($400-450).

The rest of the $250 'value' difference is pretty evenly distributed with a more premium case, higher end PSU, lower latency RAM, larger CPU cooler, newer chipset motherboard etc.

It'll come down to how much you personally value the more premium components vs the money in your pocket.

      • Thanks for the reply, do you plan to make any similar deals including the 9070XT? I would be very interested.

We seem to cover this topic in the comments nearly every deal we post so I'll just copy and paste this last response in below 😅

We totally understand that their great bang for buck, and there's plenty of positive reviews out there but we had to make the difficult decision to cut them from our catalog due to the significant amount of negative customer feedback. It was just too many unhappy customers, it didn't make sense for us a business to continue to offer them.

Coil whine was the number one issue. Much like the previous gen 7000 series, it seemed like a massive % of 9070 XT's (and 9070 although to a lesser extent) develop noticeable coil whine regardless of make & model.

That issue aside the RMA rate for actually faulty cards is about 3x that of their RTX50 series counterparts, and customer support requests for issues that turn out to be just bugs and software issues and not actually faulty cards, even higher.

We really hope next-gen Radeon is better 🤞 We'll definitely be giving them a try when they launch.

  • Had a very good customer experience purchasing from Evatech in a previous deal. Would highly recommend them.

Have you got a mesh case?
White AIO with black fans and case… I know it’s keeping the cost down but… my eyes

    • We have both white case, and mesh panel case options. Fractal North and Epoch series primarily. There's also several other options for black coolers.

  • Cracker of a deal!

  • that ram alone probably cost 3138$

  • Good deal, just paid, can't wait for the delivery

    • ❤️

  • Order placed :)
Went with a 9900x (non-gamer, content producer) and Antec P30 Air case and BYO GPU.
    Can't wait.

I have placed an order. This is my first gaming PC. Ended up going up with the 5070Ti instead of 5080. Price difference to performance upgrade, didnt seem worth it

  • Hi, just wondering how to access the BYO gpu deal? cant seem to see it in the options while picking out parts.

    • The BYO GPU option is only offered in the "Prime Plus" PC via the deal link - it's not in the "MAG Pano."

This particular OzBargain post is primarily about the Prime Plus offering. Our previous OzBargain post was focussed on the MAG Pano!

  • Still available? Site tells me 'The selected RAM is currently unavailable. Please select an alternative before proceeding.'

    • It's still available, you just have to select other RAM to proceed. Discount code will still apply, etc.

  • Just noticed the SSD options are only for 7000 mb/s, I think my current PC has 14,000, is 7k sufficient for running things like BG3 etc? TIA

    • 7,000MB/s is a pretty typical advertised figure for Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSDs, with the 14,000MB/s figure being the higher-end of Gen5 SSDs.

Last we looked into it, only a few very particular content-creation workloads/tasks have an actual perceptible and appreciated benefit from higher speed drives, and even then the point of diminishing returns was fairly apparent.

For gaming, we think as long as you have an SSD (SATA, Gen3, Gen4, Gen5) rather than a HDD: you're fine. If you have deep pockets and a compatible CPU + motherboard combination, Gen5 is "great", but from an OzBargain perspective it really doesn't move the needle, and is far from something we'd advocate for at this point in time.

  • hi @evatech, is this still available? also, if the I choose the 9800xd, does is it eligible for the crimson desert promo?

    • Yes the deal / promo code is still active although one or more of the options maybe sold out and you'll need to choose from others before adding to cart.

Sorry, I don't believe we're a 'participating retailer' for the crimson desert promo according to AMD. Would have to assume not.
