Spend $249-$9,999 (or $250-$10,000) on Garden Power Tools, Get $50-$2000 Worth in Bonus Points @ Total Tools (or Sydney Tools)

60

Total Tools and Sydney Tools are having a 'bonus points blitz'. There are spend amounts to get certain bonus points deals. Effectively 20% back in points at the start of each spend bracket

I stacked this with buying an Ego Mower kit at Total tools for $1500, so got their battery bonus too and $300 bonus points.

Tool Kit Depot also has 10% off almost everything

  • So from what I can gather from the Ts&Cs - bonus points are just added to your account that can then be used for a later purchase? So spend money now to save a bit when you spend more later? Is that correct?

    • Yes, it's not ideal

    • Yep exactly, so I now have $300 points in my account, which I can spend the next time I'm there.

      • Key point is that it's only close to 20% if you actually spend close to the exact threshold. e.g. if you spent $9800 you'll only get $1000 worth in points unless you spend an extra $200 to get to the next level.

  • Total tools points are more flexible

  • Note the difference with the rebates. Often items are for example $999 so ST the bonus is only $100 when for the same price at TT you would get $200.

Im tossing up between ego and greenworks mower/trimmer kits. Both $1500. i'm leaning towards greenworks since I can probably sell the blower and trimmer for a few hundred.

    • I also bought at TT because of this!

    • I bought Greenworks and my old regret is not buying the bigger bundle!

      • +1

I ended up getting Makita 40v mower + 007gz1 trimmer + extra battery. I was lucky, instore they had the lm001gt priced wrong and they honored it. Greenworks would have probably been fine but little extra feel makita was a better buy.

  • Could also save 10% at TT if you have enough Ultimate Him gift cards from Coles promotion a few weeks ago.
