  • This price and love for vic?

    • Melbourne only in VIC. Thank you, sir

      • Price?

        • $4,999 basic price for Alpha ESS 53.2kwh Alpha ESS Battery & 5kw Single-Phase Hybrid Inverter

          • @QH Technology: 10kw inverter should be minimum

            • @Zeee: Yes sir. You can choose the 10kw inverters for your demands

              • @QH Technology: whats the price in Melb for: 10kw inverter and 3-phase inverter?

                • @Feeblely: Fox Promotional Prices (Valid until end of April)
                  Three phase 10kw+48kwh AUD 7200
                  Thank you, sir.

            • @Zeee: Mate for 5k you just learn how to leave with hahha awesome pricing for 53kw battery. amazing wish they install in WA

      • Would this stretch to Vic postcode 3223?

        • Sorry, VIC 3223 is far away from us. We cannot reach there

  • Why do you want to go with a brand that disabled the option to force discharge battery to grid?

    • Doubt they specifically chose them for that, just cheapest option

      • There are other cheap options in NSW, and this is not even the cheapest option for VIC.

I had installed $3999 for 48kw battery with 8kw inverter in VIC

        • I keep paying extra to live in QLD I swear

          • @knobbs: Everyone is paying extra in QLD, thanks to the over hype of the state, it will go back in the next few years

        • Hi, can you please share this quotation? I am VIC. Thanks

        • Could you please let me know which company did your installation in VIC? $3,999 for a 48kWh battery and 8kW inverter is a great price—I'd love to get a quote from them.

          Thank you kindly.

        • @samehada to further our DM

i sent you a follow up DM asking for the $4k 48kw battery / 8kw inverter company … can you please share it here or respond to my DM?

          • @db2k: Did this guy ever respond?

            • @Rogue01: @Rogue01 they were unresponsive - found out from another person who interacted that he's an installer/business not a customer…

any business that doesn't respond to customer questions is not worth pursuing. There are plenty of other businesses that will take my money 😂

              • @db2k: Thank you, much appreciated! :)

  • And here I am, paid $8k for 25kwh sungrow batteries last year

    • That's actually a decent deal for sungrow. Who was your installer?

    • You have a superior product. If you didn't care for that you surely wouldnt have.

      • Yes better but I wouldn't say 3.2x better

  • Who needs 50kwh battery with only 5kw inverter? You turn on lights, AC and oven and boom you start paying for the grid.

    • 50kw battery with only 5kw inverter and you can't sell to grid at night unless going with specific retailer that support VPP to control the discharge to grid.

I will just avoid this AlphaESS brand.

      • Unless you are on 3 phase you will only be able to export 10khw, so that will be the bottleneck

    • For the most part people who are clueless and get suckered. You see posts about it after the fact all the time on social media.

  • Don't do it. 5KW is awfully low.

Should be a 10KW inverter minimum for charge and discharge at this size.

  • Do you guys get some crazy rebate down south? We’re about to pay $14k for a 16kwh Sungrow system with a 5kw inverter in QLD and that’s with like a $3k rebate.

  • 5kw inverter on a 50kw stack should be illegal.

  • Single phase, 5kw… but why 😆😅
Turn on AC in two rooms and you’re battery is of no use

    • How big are your ACs?

We have 6kws, 3kws and 2 kws going at the same time and only draws 5kws, settles at under kws once cooled.

    • idk what kind of ancient ACs you're running bust most have a cop rating of 5.0 or higher now days man. our main room 7.1kw uses ~1.3 - the office 2.5kw uses ~350watts.

with that said, yes, 5kw inverters is crazy. our camping battery has 2.4kw.. i'd hope for more than two camping batteries output for a whole house.

  • Price for 10kw inverter and 3-Phase please?

    • For 10kw inverter and 3-phase inverter, we can offer FOXESS. Thank you, sir

      • Please give me quotation on this. I am in Melbourne. Thanks

  • this is bad, the voltx is 10kw and 50kw for 5k
    yall need to match that

    • Not anymore.

      • what do u mean, u call them they will suck u off to sign a contract

        • They are out of stock for Solplanet batteries. They are now offering FoxESS.

  • Even ignoring the price OR product, no ABN like the last time they posted. You will not get any warranty or support lol

    • We have ABN. and we have a local Sydney installation Team. Thank you, sir.

      • Care to share what your ABN is then?

        • ABN 51 691 765 143

        • Just polite. Sorry, the internet is anonymous, so it’s difficult for me to judge.

  • Why do I feel like for that price, they’ll come to ur house and start making up all these excuses about ur home and add another $2-3k costs coz ur install isn’t a standard one… or on the day of install they found this and that and only way to finish the install is to pay more for the extra work required.

    • Our quotations are fully transparent, and orders are only signed after you have reviewed and acknowledged them. For complex electrical installations or additional accessories that require extra charges, we will provide quotations based on the actual situation. As for accessories such as protective bollards, customers are also free to purchase them independently. Thank you.

  • OP ignoring people's requests for prices with 10kWh inverter. It is a very straight forward question. Like how you'll likely be ignored for warranty claims or a request for updates for install dates months later, especially after business severely dries up after 1 May for all these businesses.

I agree with everyone else, don't go with 5kWh. You'll massively regret it if you want to future proof your home.

    • Sorry, I am busy this time and cannot reply every comment currently. If you ask for the price, we will send it. We can choose 10kw invereter with FOXESS solution. Due to product development limitations, ALPHA does not currently have a 10 kW inverter. As installers, we also hope that they will produce a 10 kW inverter to better meet the needs of Australian users.Alternatively, there are other brands available on the market, and we do not force anyone to purchase the 5 kW Alpha package.

  • 'lock in your debate now'

Quality website. I like the photo shopped battery in the photo too

  • 53kWh battery and 5kW inverter?? What a rubbish combination.

    • We have other options for 8kW, 10kW and 15kW inverters.

  • Anyone in WA ,how does this compare to our solar companies deals?

  • Just confirming is the $4,999 price for the full 53.2 kWh stack (4×13.3 kWh modules), or is it for a single 13.3 kWh module that can be expanded to 53.2 kWh later?

    • Hi, $4999=the full 53.2 kWh stack (4×13.3 kWh modules)+ a 5kW Single-Phase AlphaESS SMILE5-INV inverter +standard installation(without blackout circuits or any other items). Thanks!

  • Can the battery be retrofitted to existing solar systems? I have three phase with x3 individual 5kw inverters

    • Alpha may have some limitations when integrating with existing solar systems, such as requirements regarding your current inverter model and brand. You can take some videos or photos and show them to a professional electrician for advice.

  • I was told last year with rebate going down the price for this year should be another 1k. Working backwards if you offering 5k now it should be around 4k last year..I didn't get a quote around that price last year. Not sure also with rebate going down it affect the price?

  • A very important feature that AlphaESS decided to disable is ability to force discharge to grid so you won't be able to sell excess power at night to grid. This is very stupid of AlphaESS and I would stay away from this brand.

Unless you want to play around with Modbus setting or going with company that support VPP to control discharge of your battery. This seriously limit your option as well as affect your ROI calculation.

An example is Flowpower, they do not support VPP for now so you won't be able to sell your power with AlphaESS for 45c/kwh (NSW) from 5pm-7pm.

  • How much for a Fox Ess 42kwh battery and 15kwh inverter three phase installed?

    • Hi! Three phase 15kw+48kwh AUD 7700

  • I got this quote "10KW Goodwe Single Phase Hybrid Inverter + 49.6kWh Goodwe Battery after federal solar rebates Total Out-of-Pocket: $5800 + GST". Do you think it is too good to be true? Thanks
