$1820 for 1tb S25 ultra, no accessories like galaxy buds pro 4. Excluding loyalty and other coupon codes. Seems like this year's S26 presale was better value

It was. Had an option for 'friends of Samsung' that if you added an accessory it added 50% discount. Got the S26 Ultra at 512GB down to $1,260 which is less than this sale price. Samsung always does new items cheaper which is why I am waiting on the new watch releases.

Yep - got the S26 Ultra with Buds 4 Pro for around $1250 delivered. With extra $100 off through AMEX, paid $1150 or so. Super happy with that and seeing people trying to flog used S25 Ultras for $1300 - $1500 now just seems delusional

LOL no sure why we both got negged, but using the EPP Pricing, along with the THY code, C code and the O week code. Then take $100 of for the AMEX deal, and my final price was around $1150 for S26 Ultra along with Buds 4 pro

Yes it was generally widely known that Samsung changed their phones naming convention to match the year of release a few years ago.
yeah i read that on wikipedia about that, but it just never clicked for me as i would see peoples phones at different years after and just never put the two together. as i said i was today years old.

Hmm, the A25 and A55 came out in March 2024, with the A16 following in October the same year (2024).
The A36 and A56 were released in early 2025, and the A17 was released in August 2025! (it will likely be replaced by the A18 before 2027).
The A37 and A57 are expected anytime now, in early 2026.
It might be "generally widely known" but it seems some one forgot to inform Samsung themselves.
