Samsung 2026 OLED 77/65 Inch S90H Will Be QD-OLED, but 77 Inch S95H Will Be WOLED

https://news.samsung.com/au/samsung-brings-the-worlds-first-…

Seems like the s90h will be a big upgrade to the s90f due to Australia getting QD-OLED screens, but truly baffling their flagship 77 inch is using woled

  • I can't find what you're specifically referring to, but would be amazing if the 77" is now QD-OLED.

    Good reason to upgrade - the past panel lottery from Samsung has been a nightmare to navigate.

      WXXY is qd oled

      • THANK YOU, Thank you, thank you. Was at Samsung's portal's checkout, and was a click away from buying it. Who'd have imagined Samsung's top-end 77" TV doesn't use Samsung Display's top-end 77" panel, FFS?

          Can confirm, delivered 77” S90F is QD-OLED.

            @AlexF: … correction, 77” S90H.

  • Good news, seemed odd only the 55" s90 was qdoled last year.

    Samsung Electronics seem totally indifferent to panel technology, Samsung Display like Samsung Semiconductor may not even be cutting them a much better deal. Maybe SD don't want to waste yeilds to cut 77" glass for their latest gen panels and the G5/6 panels from LG more than good enough for SE to market.

  • Is there any confirmation on this @Kazusa - I'm keen on the Samsung 77" S90H - QA77S90HAWXXY but the press release doesn't really confirm it.

  • Received my 65" S90H and can confirm it's QD-OLED by the pixel structure

    • Thanks mate, how did you check to see the triangle RGB pattern on your TV to confirm is qd-oled.

      This should also help answer @damow15 question and anyone elses.

        I put my iPhone in macro mode and then auto focus lock until I could get a clear shot of the pixel structure. Was fairly easy once the AF was locked

    • About to purchase the 77 for around 3.7k! Is the outside borders of the tv a bother and do you have anything negative! Rtings doesnt have a review up just yet

      • you should be able to get it with 3 x %5 codes for about 3.5k going through the edu/gov portal plus the usual cashback places adding 7-10%

        • Yeh used trade in code 5% royalty voucher and ai-av26 for futher 5% total cost was 3539

          Didnt know about edu cashback which looks like it says 2% not 10% using edu! Havent touched cashback since cashrewards closed
